Fantastic and Refreshing for any music lover Posted by: from: on I've been listening to these guys since they made their first EP available for free. If you love Team Sleep or just like Chino Moreno's voice, you will definitely love this album. If you haven't heard of Team Sleep or Deftones, then tracks I recommend are Blk Stallion (my favorite), This is a Trick, Bermuda Locket, The Epilogue, Trophy, B*****s Brew, and Telepathy. Also check out some of the remixes on SoundCloud since some of the remixes sound completely different from the originals and are great to listen to as well.

Contender for Album of the Year Posted by: from: Upstate, NY on Crosses is just one of several side projects from Chino Moreno, the vocalist of Deftones. However, this strays as far away from the metal sound of Deftones as you can get, and is actually primarily electronic-based with a majority of clean vocals. It's very atmospheric and pleasant to listen to with great melodies and songwriting; and according to Moreno, something to listen to/sing to in the car when you're a little worn out and sick of screams. Moreno created this album (with the help of two other musicians) independently, without the pressures of a a record label forcing them to create "radio hits."

Best Chino project outside of Deftones Posted by: from: on As a tv and film music supervisor, I love music with a cinematic feeling. This Deftones side-project by Chino Moreno is well beyond the origins of Witch House rock. Imagine the drama and elegance of the Deftones but with haunting keyboards replacing the heavy guitar riffs. This album is dark and magical from start to finish.

Great album! Posted by: from: on You can't really go wrong with anything that Chino Moreno does. Not as heavy as the Deftonea, but still a great album.

Great Record that's Worth the Money. Posted by: from: McAllen, TX on I bought this because I had heard the free EP from their website... it is good. Got the sexiness of Deftones with a more electronic groove. There's some upbeat grooves throughout the record so its not total gloom. Any good old new waver would enjoy this record, and its definitely something to share with your partner.

Chino Hits the Right Notes Posted by: from: on I love Deftones, but I've never loved Chino's side projects. Until this album came out, that is. Crosses takes the eerie atmospherics of that Chino seems to lean towards and adds heavy beats and intriguing arrangements. Such a great, great album. Buy it, stat!

Cinematic Rock at its Best Posted by: from: Louisville, KY on Are you a fan of The Deftones? Maybe even Mogwai or Sigur Ros as well? This album is for you. A melodic animal, this album delivers a sound that is unique in every way. A calming heavy rock that taps into your soul relaxing every muscle but still making you feel like a lion. That's perfection.

Great CD Posted by: from: Matthews, NC on I am a huge Deftones fan and have always enjoyed Chino Moreno's voice. I would say Crosses is a nice mix of the aggressive style of the Deftones and the laid back sound of Team Sleep. The lyrics are catchy and the beats make you bob your head.

Great album Posted by: from: Denver, CO on Everything Chino Moreno touches turns to gold. This is an excellent debut album from an excellent band. Even though it is a super group/side project, the members work together perfectly as if this was their main band. I hope to hear more from these guys in the future.
