Amazing to Listen to

Ed Sheeran is a remarkable and talented lad! His lyrics are humble and meaningful as well as down right amazing. I've been listening to him before he came to the States and now that his CD is finally available here it's amazing! If you love Mumford and Sons and The Fray you'll enjoy Ed Sheeran for his moving lyrics. His voice matches each words he sings and the beats... You just can't help but tap along with your foot! I highly recommend giving Ed a shot because I don't see why you shouldn't. xx

This very quickly became one of my favourite albums. There's literally nothing bad to be said about it. Ed is incredibly talented, in every possible aspect. The lyrics are moving and clever, the acoustic guitar is beautiful, and it'll blow your mind when you hear this guy rap.
It's impossible to choose a favourite song, but "Wake Me Up," "Kiss Me," and "U.N.I.," and "You Need Me, I Don't Need You" are perfection.
Basically, you need to own this album.

Wow, if there's one person that comes to mind when I hear "musical genius" it would be Ed Sheeran. Every single track on this entire CD is pure perfection. There's nothing less than the epitome of a true musician in this album and I've never heard an artist with so much raw talent. I'm blow away, honestly. Ed, you've exceeded expectations with this one. By far one of, if not THE best CD I've ever purchased (coming from a music junkie with 150+ albums in her collection). Incredible.

He is his own A Team

Ed will capture your interest immediately with his radio single and opening track, "The A Team" that uses a somewhat melancholy guitar riff mixed with strings, piano, and subtle percussion to make even you daydream. The rest of the album blends slower songs with upbeat tunes all in the lyrical genius and style of the likes of Jason Mraz. My other favorite tracks include, "U.N.I." and "Give Me Love" which express emotions we can all relate to in or out of a relationship.

My 17 yer old daughter had introduced me to Ed with the X CD. I was impressed by his song writing and guitar playing so I bought her this CD and have been even more impressed with it even though it was an earlier CD and not as popular with the general public. I like it more than the X CD because it shows he is more rounded than the coffee shop guitar player singer song writer that came across in the X CD (not saying that is bad just appreciate this one more). Earlier today we also bought a 5 EP set of his and we have also been impressed with the first 2 EPs we have already listened to with some live performances and even a band backing him on few songs. We are taking a long road trip tomorrow and will listen to all 5 then. He is a very talented young man and we can both appreciate his music. Great to find music my daughters and I can share together (I don't get into the Taylor Swift or Sam Hunt brand of Pop they sometime listen to). My 21 year old likes Ed's music as well. Win win!
