Frustrated Posted by: from: on I went to the Best Buy store to place a claim for a broken phone. They did a bunch of paper work, then told us to expect a new phone to be delivered and a box would be sent for the old phone to be sent back. A week later nothing happened. I called and they said they didn't have a record of the paperwork. I went to the store again, 45 minute drive one way. They told me I could do it online or by phone, the manager told me this. He said it would be quicker. I called the number and was told it could only be done in the store. Now I have a case number, and will call the store in the morning, and talk to the manager and see what happens. I paid $99 for a protection plan in which the agents have no idea how to replace this phone. I think for the two trips,90 miles round trip and the aggravation they should waive the deductible!
