Back, and Better than Ever!

Posted by: from New Brunswick, NJ on 12/26/2008After almost a year-and-a-half off the air due to last year's writers' strike, 24 returns and pulls out all the stops. Redemption sets Jack Bauer, everyone's favorite one-man army, somewhere in Africa doing missionary work with an old friend. While he is on the run from the U.S. Government, Jack finally seems to be at some sort of inner peace. But he's quickly drawn back into action when a hostile militant group attempts to overthrow the local government and comes after the group of children that Jack is helping to care for. Like always, you get that same action and suspense that 24 is famous for. As a longtime fan, I can honestly say that this is easily the most powerful and moving installment in the 24 series yet. If you're a fan like me, then this is the movie you've been waiting for. But this really is a movie that anyone can get in to. You don't really need to know the story leading up to this movie to really enjoy it.

JACKS BACK
5
Posted by: from Cleveland Ohio on 11/25/2008Thank GOD ! Jack is back in an explosive new 2 hour long made for tv 24 Movie. The writers are setting themselves up for what may be the best season in television history. Jack is back and all he has left is his freedom. But as always life calls upon Jack to save the day. In this case save the lives of 14 young boys in Sangala Africa. Jacks Job.... To get these kids 5 miles to the United States embassy before it closes up and then have to travel about 10x's the distance to the border. Seems simple... NO ITS NOT ! You will see Jack get interogated by a machatte weilding warlord, Jack navigate through a mine field and Jack giving up the only thing he has left. HIS FREEDOM. You will also see the beginning of a new Presidency and the ending of another. You will see a conspiracy reaching to the new president and is sure to have an effect on next season and Jack Bauer. You will see a preview for the upcoming season where Tony is back but as a Terrorist. I have to say This episode was amazing it really gives you a feel for how Jack wants to change his life it shows you the emotional side and it really puts you in Jacks place and brings back the emotional connection we as 24 fans have experianced in the past. All I have to say is A+
