    24: 1:00 AM-2:00 AM
Tony (Carlos Bernard) wants to know what happened between Mason and Jack (Kiefer Sutherland). Nina (Sarah Clarke) comes up with a cover story. Mandy (Mia Kirshner) touches down, and hides the ID she took from the photographer on the plane. Teri (Leslie Hope) and Janet's (Jacqui Maxwell) dad, Alan York (Richard Burgi), get to the furniture store, but the kids are long gone. Walsh (Michael O'Neill) meets a frightened agent, who gives him a card key encoded with classified information about Palmer (Dennis Haysbert), which he says was created by the mole in CTU. Before Walsh can act on the information, the agent is killed, and he finds himself pinned down by unseen gunmen. He calls Jack for help. Mandy meets with Ira Gaines (Michael Massee) and he pays her for the ID, which her partner is bringing. At Gaines' hideout, Mandy sees Jonathan (Rudolph Martin), who's been surgically altered to look just like the photographer. Jack reaches Walsh, and helps him kill two of the gunmen. Jack cuts the thumb off of one corpse, for identification purposes. Bridgit (Kim Murphy), Mandy's partner, shows up at the hideout, but won't give up the ID until Gaines doubles their money. Secret service agents show up at Palmer's hotel room and tell Sherry (Penny Johnson) about the threat against his life, but the senator has taken off on his own. Walsh is killed after giving Jack the key card. Jack gets away, and transmits info on the card to Jamey (Karina Arroyave), who tells him that the card came from Nina's computer. Rick (Daniel Bess) and Dan (Matthew Carey) order Kim (Elisha Cuthbert) to call her mother and say she's okay. Dan smashes Janet's arm with a tire iron when Kim refuses. ~ Josh Ralske, Rovi

    24: 2:00 AM-3:00 AM
Jack (Kiefer Sutherland) transmits the thumbprint to a lab, but they can't find a match. Teri (Leslie Hope) tells Jack about Kim's (Elisha Cuthbert) phone call, and Jack asks her and Alan (Richard Burgi) to wait for Kim at the furniture store. Mandy (Mia Kirshner) apologizes to Ira (Michael Massee) for Bridgit's (Kim Murphy) demands. Ira calls Rick (Daniel Bess) and Dan (Matthew Carey) for an update on Kim. Palmer (Dennis Haysbert) meets with Carl (Zach Grenier), some kind of PR guy, and tells him there's a story out that the senator's son Keith (Vicellous Reon Shannon), killed the man who raped his daughter. Carl promises to take care of it. Jack tells Jamey (Karina Arroyave) about Walsh's allegations, and has her confirm that the key card came from Nina's (Sarah Clarke) computer, while he keeps Nina occupied by asking about her relationship with Tony (Carlos Bernard). Once the origin of the card is confirmed, Jack accosts Nina, demanding to know who she's working for. Nina pleads her innocence. Kim (Elisha Cuthbert) and Janet (Jacqui Maxwell) manage to temporarily escape from Rick (Daniel Bess) and Dan (Matthew Carey). With the boys hot on their trail, they get unexpected help from Larry (Keram Malicki-Sanchez), a street hustler. They manage to get their hands on a cell phone, and Kim puts in an urgent call to her mother. But as the girls race off, Janet gets hit by a car, and Kim is caught. After Ira transfers another million dollars into their account, Bridgit gives up the ID card, and pays dearly for her greed. Jack learns that the weekend the key card was created on Nina's computer, she was away with him. ~ Josh Ralske, Rovi

    24: 4:00 AM-5:00 AM
Teri (Leslie Hope) and Alan (Richard Burgi) arrive at the hospital, and learn that Janet (Jacqui Maxwell) is the injured girl. As Janet undergoes emergency surgery, Teri worries about Kimberly's (Elisha Cuthbert) whereabouts. After turning Kimberly over to Gaines (Michael Massee), Rick (Daniel Bess) wants to split, but Dan (Matthew Carey) insists that they meet Gaines at the compound to collect their money, as arranged. Jack (Kiefer Sutherland) follows the police as they take Penticoff (John Hawkes) into custody. Jack convinces the police to let him speak to Penticoff, but Mason (Xander Berkeley) arrives and intercedes. Jack tells Mason that Penticoff is involved in an attempt on Palmer's (Dennis Haysbert) life, but he doesn't mention anything about Kimberly. Penticoff demands to speak to Jack, telling him that Kimberly will die if Jack doesn't help him escape so he can answer Gaines' phone call. Palmer meets with reporter Maureen Kingsley (Devika Parikh) and she tells him her very convincing sources for the story about Palmer's son, Keith (Vicellous Shannon). Palmer later confronts Keith and asks him what he did after Nicole (Megalyn Echikunwoke) was raped. Keith refuses to answer. Jack helps Penticoff escape, and Penticoff gets the call from Gaines, who tells him to dispose of a body located in the trunk of a nearby car. Hearing about the body, Jack fears the worst. Dan and Rick meet with Gaines, who has already learned that, contrary to what Dan told him, Janet is still alive. Gaines decides to show Dan the difference between dead and alive. ~ Josh Ralske, Rovi

Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland), an anti-terrorism agent based in Los Angeles, has recently returned home after a separation from his wife, Teri (Leslie Hope), and his daughter, Kimberly (Elisha Cuthbert), who seems to blame Teri for the split. Jack and Teri learn that Kimberly has snuck out of the house, but before they can deal with the situation, Jack is called away to work. He has a close relationship with one of his underlings, Nina Myers (Sarah Clarke), and another, Tony (Carlos Bernard), suspects them of having an affair. Jack's boss, Richard Walsh (Michael O'Neill), tells him about a plot to assassinate a presidential candidate, David Palmer (Dennis Haysbert). Walsh also tells him that they suspect that someone in his unit is a mole. Jack gets into a conflict with George Mason (Xander Berkeley), another agent who won't tell him where they got the information about the assassination plot. Palmer gets a call from a reporter who makes a disturbing allegation, but he won't tell his wife, Sherry (Penny Johnson), what the reporter said. Kimberly and her friend, Janet (Jacqui Maxwell), meet up with two older guys, Rick (Daniel Bess) and Dan (Matthew Carey). She hits it off with Dan, but when she realizes that Teri's been trying to reach her, she decides to go home. Rick and Dan offer her a ride home, but they don't follow her directions. Martin Belkin (Rudolph Martin) is flying into L.A. to photograph Palmer. He strikes up a conversation with Mandy (Mia Kirshner), the attractive woman sitting next to him on the plane. Nina (Sarah Clarke) is angry at Jack (Kiefer Sutherland). He tries to explain why he suspected her. He tells her that Walsh was killed, and that they have to work together with Jamey (Karina Arroyave) to figure things out. Jamey manages to get an address off the key card, but just before Jack leaves to check it out, Mason (Xander Berkeley) returns, and puts the office on "official lockdown." Jack manages to get out of the building. Tony (Carlos Bernard) admits to Nina that he called Mason in. Palmer (Dennis Haysbert) returns to his hotel room, and finds out about the assassination threat. Kim (Elisha Cuthbert) pleads with Rick (Daniel Bess) and Dan (Matthew Carey) to go back for Janet (Jacqui Maxwell), whom they've left for dead. Dan decides they have to go back...to finish Janet off. Just as Dan is about to shoot Janet, an ambulance arrives, and he's forced to leave. Palmer finds out the source for the story about Keith (Vicellous Shannon) was Keith's old therapist, and he finally tells Sherry (Penny Johnson Jerald) what's going on. Teri (Leslie Hope) and Alan (Richard Burgi) are stopped by an overzealous cop as they race to find Kim and Janet, and Teri and Jack miss each other's phone calls. Jack arrives at the address from the key card, and finds himself exchanging fire with someone. Jessie Hampton (Yolonda Ross), a policewoman on patrol, hears the shots and enters the building. She helps Jack find the gunman, but ends up being taken hostage. Rick and Dan turn Kim over to Ira Gaines (Michael Massee). Dan tells Gaines that Janet is dead. ~ Josh Ralske, Rovi

    24: 8:00 AM-9:00 AM
Palmer (Dennis Haysbert) is evacuated from the power plant after the assassination attempt, while Jack (Kiefer Sutherland) is taken into custody. He tells the secret service head, Simes (Michael Bryan French). Jamey (Karina Arroyave) tells Nina (Sarah Clarke) and Tony (Carlos Bernard) that she's working for Gaines (Michael Massee). They have her call Gaines and tell him that she's removing the tap on CTU's surveillance, which she does. Once again able to move freely, Nina has Milo (Eric Balfour) take over Jamey's work. Jack tells Simes that the people trying to kill Palmer are holding his wife and daughter hostage. Simes says he can't help Jack, and prepares to turn him over to the FBI. Jack manages to grab a gun and escape. He forces a woman, Lauren (Kathleen Wilhoite), at gunpoint to drive him away. Jamey tries to explain her actions to Tony, who calls her a traitor. She refuses to cooperate further until they give her immunity. Jack, now with a hostage, gets to a phone and calls Nina, who tells him that Jamey was the mole. He talks to Jamey, promising to get her out of trouble if she'll help them find Gaines. She refuses, so Jack tells Nina to send a car for him, and to bring in Jamey's son. Mike (Jude Ciccolella) tells Palmer about Jack. The name Jack Bauer sounds familiar. Eli (Silas Weir Mitchell), one of Gaines' goons, tries to rape Kimberly (Elisha Cuthbert), but Teri (Leslie Hope) offers herself instead. She somehow manages to lift his cell phone while he does his business. Sherry (Penny Johnson Jerald) gets the reporter to hold off on the story about Keith (Vicellous Shannon). Tony tells Jamey that they're bringing her son in. Jack asks Lauren to get his car, giving her a chance to escape. ~ Josh Ralske, Rovi

Jonathan (Rudolph Martin), disguised as Martin, clears security and gets into the event. Gaines (Michael Massee) puts Teri (Leslie Hope) on the phone briefly to encourage Jack's (Kiefer Sutherland) continued cooperation. Jack follows Gaines' orders, picking up a briefcase and taking it to the power station where Palmer is speaking. Jamey (Karina Arroyave) gets word from Gaines that Nina (Sarah Clarke) is dead, and to make up a story to explain her absence. Nina calls Tony (Carlos Bernard) and tells him not to let anyone know that she's alive, and to put Jamey on the phone. He's about to, when Jamey tells him she just spoke to Nina, arousing his suspicions. Alerted to possible surveillance by Nina, he sends a car to pick her up. Jack gets through security at the power station, and runs into an old friend, Jessica Abrams (Jackie Debatin), who works for Palmer, but he's foiled in his efforts to pass her a note. Gaines orders him to a secluded room, where Jonathan has him assemble the gun inside the briefcase. Tony insists on calling the secret service to warn them that Jack's been compromised. They, in turn, ask Palmer to leave immediately, but he insists on making his speech first. Nina and Tony manage to capture Jamey without being seen by the security cameras at CTU. Gaines (Michael Massee) orders Rick (Daniel Bess) to bury Dan's body, and Kimberly (Elisha Cuthbert) warns him that Gaines isn't going to let them live. Palmer (Dennis Haysbert) confronts Carl (Zach Grenier) about covering up what happened after Nicole was raped. Palmer angrily orders Carl to stay away from him and his family. Carl suggests that Sherry (Penny Johnson Jerald) also knew about what happened. Sherry admits as much, and Palmer questions her motives. He considers dropping out of the race, but decides he'll break the story before the press does. Jack arrives at the hospital, and tells Teri about the hit on Palmer and the connection to Kimberly's kidnapping. Janet regains consciousness. Alan (Richard Burgi) says he'll go in and see Janet first, and let Jack question her if she's up to it. Gaines calls Jack on his cell phone and orders him to leave the hospital. Jack realizes that they're watching him through the hospital security camera, and follows Gaines' instructions, which include ditching his cell phone. Alan goes in to see Janet, and when she sees him, she asks where her father is. Alan kills her, then tells Teri Janet gave him an address where they might find Kimberly. Unable to contact Jack, Teri leaves with Alan. In the car with Alan on a desolate road, Teri gets a call from Nina, who gives her a message for Jack. The body from the trunk has been identified. Ellis uses Milo's (Eric Balfour) password to pull up some files on Drazen, but there's some information missing. Nina (Sarah Clarke) starts debriefing Teri, but Teri interrupts her, and asks her directly if she's the person Jack saw when they were separated. Nina admits it was her, and reassures Teri that it was a brief affair. But Teri gets upset and stops the interview. Kim calls Rick (Daniel Bess) and implores him to turn himself in. He asks her to lie about his role in the kidnapping, and she does. Jack learns that Drazen's wife and daughter were inadvertently killed in the Kosovo operation, and realizes that Teri and Kim are still in danger. Palmer uses his influence to get Jack out of CTU custody and back on the case. But Ellis is interrupted before he can give them any more assistance. ~ Josh Ralske, Rovi

She's relieved to find Teri in a different room, but she later finds out that the man claiming to be FBI was a fake. Chappelle tells Jack that he sympathizes with his actions, but he can't reinstate him until the Justice Department okays it. Jack wants to go back out into the field to protect Palmer. Jack and Rick reach the water tower, but Teri and Kim aren't there. Jack tends to Rick's wound, but angrily suggests he take responsibility for his actions. He then goes to look for Teri and Kim, finding them in the nick of time. Tony tells Mrs. Vasquez (Christine Avila) that Jamey was a traitor, and demands any information the woman might have. They find out that the wire transfers to Jamey came from Belgrade. Palmer finds Maureen, who's quit her job and is leaving town in a hurry. When he goes to talk to the D.A., Carl is waiting for him, and threatens to pin Ferragamo's death on Palmer's son. Both Kevin and Rick take it on the lam, and Jack has a final confrontation with Gaines. Meanwhile, Nina learns that another assassin was paid out of the same account as Jamey. ~ Josh Ralske, Rovi

Then Gaines gets word that one of his men has found Kevin, and orders Rick to drive him to Kevin. Palmer gets to Ferragamo's office, only to find that it's been destroyed in a suspicious explosion. Mike urges him to be cautious. Alberta is about to get Tony to crack when Jack calls her, explains about the kidnapping, and asks her to send in the troops. Cofell claims he's an ordinary businessman. He doesn't know what Jack's talking about. Jack calls Nina (Sarah Clarke) and asks her to work up an "interrogation profile" for Cofell. Jack isn't having any luck with Cofell, though he does find Cofell's heart medication. He asks Cofell about the man he's supposed to meet. Cofell says it's just another businessman. Drazen (Zeljko Ivanek) shows up at the compound, complaining about the performance of Gaines (Michael Massee) and his American crew. He gives Gaines 30 minutes to find Jack, or they'll have to kill the women, and go to a contingency plan. Drazen wants Jack and Palmer (Dennis Haysbert) dead. Cofell attacks Jack with a high-tech knife, but Jack fends him off, and now Cofell's cover is blown. He speaks angrily to Jack in Serbian before he keels over from a heart attack. Nina suggests Jack wait for the man Cofell was meeting. Jack tells Nina he thinks whoever's trying to kill Palmer also has some kind of personal thing with him. The cops have an APB out on Jack. They pull him over, but he gets away again. Nina patches him through to Teri and Kim and he promises he'll save them. They hide the phone again as Eli returns, still looking for it. Jack listens in helplessly as he roughly interrogates them. Then the phone, low on battery power, starts beeping. Eli finds it, picks it up, and hears Jack issue a death threat. He hangs up before they can finish the trace. Rick tries to convince Eli not to tell Gaines (Michael Massee) about the incident. Nina gives Jack an address for Cofell (Currie Graham), an investment banker, and Jack heads there. Andre Drazen (Zeljko Ivanek) calls Gaines to complain that Palmer is still alive. He threatens to take back his money, and worse. Sherry calls Carl (Zach Grenier), who tells her he's "taken care of" the evidence against Keith. Milo decodes the e-mail. Mason (Xander Berkeley) tells Tony he'll tell Jack about the call after the situation with Alexis is resolved. Kim calls Rick (Daniel Bess) and threatens to rat him out if he doesn't help her. Keith (Vicellous Shannon) gives Palmer the tape he made of Carl's threats. Drazen (Zeljko Ivanek) tells Alexis to kill Elizabeth after he gets the information about Palmer's itinerary. Palmer's (Dennis Haysbert) staff sees the photos of the assassins, and Elizabeth (Kara Zediker) is horrified when she recognizes Alexis. During her debriefing, Kim (Elisha Cuthbert) lies to Nina (Sarah Clarke) about her continuing contact with Rick (Daniel Bess). Palmer tells Jack about Elizabeth, and Jack brings her into CTU for questioning. Teri offers to continue her debriefing with Nina, but when questioned about Kim's veracity, Teri gets testy. Because of the tension between them, Nina decides to let Paulson (Kevin Ramsey) finish the debriefing. Mason (Xander Berkeley) returns to CTU, replacing Alberta. He has qualms about Jack's plans to have Elizabeth keep her date with Alexis. Palmer promises to "be there" for Keith (Vicellous Shannon), but Keith wants his father to tell the police about Ferragamo's murder, and he won't. Myovic (Henri Lubatti) waits outside the safe house, and tells Drazen (Zeljko Ivanek), "The women will be dead soon." Keith slips away from the Secret Service, and goes to meet with Carl (Zach Grenier). Elizabeth agrees to meet with Alexis, and to try to plant a tracking device on him. Myovic makes his move, killing several agents. Paulson helps Teri and Kim get out of the safe house, with Myovic in pursuit. Carl threatens to pin Ferragamo's murder on Keith, who is secretly taping their conversation. ~ Josh Ralske, Rovi

Kim (Elisha Cuthbert) is abducted on the way to CTU. Palmer (Dennis Haysbert) makes a victorious speech after the primary results come in. Jack (Kiefer Sutherland) calls Nina (Sarah Clarke) and lets her know he's being held hostage. Victor (Dennis Hopper) demands to be patched through to Alexis (Misha Collins) to prove that he's still alive, and that CTU has him. Victor tells Mason (Xander Berkeley) that he'll trade Jack for Alexis, but Mason tells him he doesn't have the authority to make the deal. Sherry (Penny Johnson Jerald) tells Patty (Tanya Wright) that she won't be going to Dallas with Palmer, and that they can use some time apart. Mason gets the word from Chappelle (Paul Schulze). The whole Drazen business is an embarrassment to CTU, and they don't want to risk drawing more attention to it. Jack's on his own. Nina tells Teri (Leslie Hope) the bad news, and she goes straight to Mason, who tells her there's nothing he can do. Nina calls Palmer, and tells him about the whole situation. As CTU gets word about Kim's abduction, Palmer calls Mason, and promises to reward him for making the deal for Jack, after he's president. Victor kills a couple of friends to keep Jack under control. Mason lets Victor know the deal is on, and goes to get Alexis. Patty continues to flirt with Palmer, and it turns out that Sherry is encouraging her. Kim is brought to the Drazens, and a distraught Jack begs them to let her go. Andre (Zeljko Ivanek) brings Jack to a remote field, and leaves him there. Mason gives Alexis over to the Drazens. Jack is freed, but because the Drazens have Kim, he's still under their control. ~ Josh Ralske, Rovi

    24: 8:00 PM-9:00 PM
As the polls close in California, the networks report that Palmer (Dennis Haysbert) has swept Super Tuesday. He thanks his supporters, who have gathered to celebrate. Melanie (Navi Rawat) hassles Kim (Elisha Cuthbert) as they sit in a holding cell. Jack (Kiefer Sutherland) calls CTU and tells Mason (Xander Berkeley) about Victor Drazen (Dennis Hopper), and urges him to send a field unit out right away. He does. Mason also gives Nina (Sarah Clarke) grief about her romances with Jack and Tony (Carlos Bernard). Tony brings Teri (Leslie Hope) into CTU, but no one will give her any information about Jack. Mason reassures her that Kim must be okay, because the assassin that attacked Teri demanded to know where she was. Mason can't reach Chappelle (Paul Schulze) to tell him about the field unit. Jack finds himself in a standoff with Drazen's men. He holds Victor at gunpoint, while Andre (Zeljko Ivanek) has DeSalvo (Lou Diamond Phillips). When Jack drops his gun, Andre kills DeSalvo, and with the CTU team poised to attack, Jack is taken hostage. Mason still can't reach Chappelle to get the authority to send the team in. Kim backs up Melanie when another prisoner tries to plant drugs on her, so Melanie tells Krugman (Darin Heames) the truth about the drug deal. He calls the number Kim gave him, and she's released. Palmer gently fends off the advances of his aide, Patty (Tanya Wright). Chappelle finally talks to Mason, and he wants the situation cleaned up immediately, without regard for Jack's safety, so the media won't get wind of it. Kim calls Teri to say she's on her way, just before she's intercepted. Victor and his men elude the CTU team. Victor is about to kill Jack until Jack offers to lead them to Alexis. ~ Josh Ralske, Rovi

    24: 10:00 PM-11:00 PM
Andre (Zeljko Ivanek) calls Jack (Kiefer Sutherland) on the cell phone he gave him, and tells him to go to Palmer's (Dennis Haysbert) hotel, and have Palmer unfreeze the family's assets. In response to her flirtations, Palmer arranges a private meeting with Patty (Tanya Wright) in a hotel room. Jack calls CTU and lets them know he's been released. Realizing that with Kim (Elisha Cuthbert) being held by the Drazens, Jack could be a threat to Palmer, Mason (Xander Berkeley) has the Secret Service increase security. Alexis (Misha Collins) is reunited with Victor (Dennis Hopper) and Andre (Zeljko Ivanek), just before he dies from his injuries. Andre angrily goes to kill Kim, but Victor stops him, as they still need her. Sherry (Penny Johnson Jerald) tells Patty why she wants her to seduce Palmer. Tony (Carlos Bernard) discovers that the schematics of the detention center were altered, and suggests to Nina (Sarah Clarke) that there may still be a traitor at CTU. Tony gets information suggesting that Mason accessed the plans, so Nina tells him to cut off Mason's network access. Jack calls Palmer to tell him he's on his way, and promises not to harm him. Palmer agrees to let Jack in. Palmer has his meeting with Patty, and confronts Sherry about her underhandedness. When Jack gets to the hotel, Palmer tells him that he can't unfreeze Victor's assets, and Victor knows it. In the nick of time, Jack realizes what Victor's up to. Andre explains his actions to Kim. ~ Josh Ralske, Rovi

    24: 11:00 PM-12:00 AM
As the first season finale of 24 begins, Kim (Elisha Cuthbert) has managed a daring escape from the Drazens. Sherry (Penny Johnson Jerald) harangues Palmer (Dennis Haysbert) about letting the media think the assassination attempt on him succeeded, which he's doing to help Jack (Kiefer Sutherland) save Kim's life. Victor (Dennis Hopper) has agreed to exchange Kim for Jack. Jack goes to the pier to make the trade, but he won't show himself until he gets to talk to Kim, which leaves Victor and Andre (Zeljko Ivanek) in a jam, because Kim isn't there. Jack lets Nina (Sarah Clarke) know that Palmer is still alive, and Nina passes that information along to Andre. Alerted that Kim is safe, Mason (Xander Berkeley) sends two tactical teams to support Jack. Sherry surreptitiously lets the media know that Palmer survived the explosion, and Palmer, thinking she's jeopardized Kim's life, really blows up. Nina lets the Drazens know that CTU is en route. Victor tells Nina to tell Jack that Kim is dead, in order to lure him out into the open. Nina tells Victor to make sure they kill Jack, because if he survives, and finds out Kim is still alive, her cover will be blown. As news of Jack's foolhardy one-man raid against the Drazens reaches CTU, Teri (Leslie Hope) goes looking for Nina to find out what's going on. An alternate ending to the episode was shot to discourage leaks, and this "decoy" ending is included on the DVD release of season one. ~ Josh Ralske, Rovi

    24: 6:00 PM-7:00 PM
Phil (Vincent Angell) takes Teri (Leslie Hope) home, where Myovic (Henri Lubatti) is waiting. They set off the burglar alarm, and Teri doesn't know the code. Myovic watches as the police arrive to affirm Teri's identity and turn off the alarm. Palmer (Dennis Haysbert) calls Jack (Kiefer Sutherland) with the missing information from the Drazen file. It's an address in Saugus, in the middle of the sector where Alexis planned to have the power shut down. Jack, with Mason (Xander Berkeley) in tow, heads for Saugus. Kim (Elisha Cuthbert) accidentally lets Frank (Edoardo Ballerini) know that Dan isn't coming home, so Rick (Daniel Bess) tells Frank the whole story. Dan's dead and there's no money for the drug deal. Sherry (Penny Johnson Jerald) is very unhappy about Palmer's decision to reveal everything to the media. "You don't just decide to clear your conscience at the cost of what's best for this country," she tells him. On the way to Saugus, Jack tells Mason he feels better now because his family's safe, and Mason clams up. Teri still doesn't remember much, but she tells Phil she feels safe with him. Frank calls some heavily armed friends over to prepare for the arrival of the drug dealers. Phil also invites an armed friend over to help him protect Teri. Palmer gives his press conference, telling the media how his campaign contributors tried to exploit his family. Nina (Sarah Clarke) finds out the safe house was hit, and chastises Tony (Carlos Bernard) for keeping quiet about it. Nina tries to call Jack, but Mason intercepts the call. The dealers arrive and guns are drawn, but Frank learns he's made a big mistake. Just as Nina is starting to remember something, Myovic makes his move. ~ Josh Ralske, Rovi

    24: 7:00 PM-8:00 PM
Mason (Xander Berkeley) gets word that Alexis is coming out of surgery. He tells Jack (Kiefer Sutherland) they should be there to question him. Jack opts to remain in Saugus, trying to figure out why Alexis wanted the power cut off at 7:20 p.m. to what looks like an empty field. Teri's (Leslie Hope) memory returns, and she's horrified, until Tony (Carlos Bernard) tells her that Kim (Elisha Cuthbert) called CTU; she's still alive. Kim, meanwhile, is in police custody. Rick (Daniel Bess) tells her to tell the cops everything, and he'll back her up. She tells the cop who arrested her that she was kidnapped, but he doesn't believe her. After the press conference, Sherry (Penny Johnson Jerald) angrily tells Palmer (Dennis Haysbert) he's just made his concession speech, and tells him, "It's over." He asks her, "Do you mean the campaign or us?" and she walks away. Jack finds some kind of underground facility and goes inside, where he's attacked by guards. He wakes up in a cell. Andre Drazen is outside the compound with his squad, waiting for the power to go out. When Jack wakes up, DeSalvo (Lou Diamond Phillips) tells him he's in a Department of Defense Detention Center. They're expecting a prisoner at 7:20, but his identity is classified. Jack tells DeSalvo to call for backup, and to arm everyone at the facility. The prisoner is delivered. Andre doesn't make his move because the power doesn't go out. Palmer finds out that his press conference actually helped him in the polls. Jack manages to get a look at the prisoner. It's Victor Drazen (Dennis Hopper), the man Jack and his team supposedly killed in Bosnia. Jack realizes that somebody will try to spring Victor, and convinces DeSalvo that they need to move the prisoner. ~ Josh Ralske, Rovi

    24: Season 1 [7 Discs] [Special Edition] - Widescreen Dolby Special - DVD (2 out of 2)

Posted by: from Fleming Island, FL on 01/20/201024 is very addictive, each hour keeps you in suspense and you can't wait to see the next hour. I did not watch the series on TV because if you miss one episode you are lost and a week is too long to wait for the next one. Instead of taking 24 weeks to watch it, I saw it in 2 weeks. The only bad thing about it is that it comes in a special Gold tin box which got a couple of dings in it during shipping and it does not match the other 6 series boxes. I would prefer the whole set matches.
