Excellent screen, sleek looking, excellent color, very bright and clear, I just wish it wasn't $400. I got it because it had the sharpest and clearest and brightest colors - the white is white - not a dim cast and I like that. I also wish it had built in speakers like my smaller ACER screens. I also really like the larger 27" size.

I was looking for a large monitor for work that would not break the bank. I came across this one and it was on sale for an unbelievable price. I read reviews on this monitor on quite a few sites and figured this fits the bill. I design forms so I needed a large monitor to work off of a couple of documents at a time. The monitor has great color and contrast, great resolution, plug and go with my laptop, crisp text photos look great.. Monitor is thin and light, can be read at extreme angles.

I have two of the LG monitors - they replaced 2 24" Samsung monitors. There was no increase in resolution (Samsung is 1920x1080 and so is the LG) but obviously everything is larger on a larger monitor of the same resolution. The Samsungs had an ajustable stand that permitted different heights. The LG doesn't - it would be nice if it did but the height is okay. It was just easier to raise the height of monitor to fiddle with cables or the like without having to move the monitor.
