Doesn't work with PCM or Dolby Digital inputs.

But not being a electronics whizz with my TV the only problem i found was to set my TV up to get the Analog Converter i to do what i wanted to do. It took a while but i got it all set up and it works GREAT88888.

Good idea to convert signals, but...

Posted by: from Fort Wayne, IN on 01/31/2013Had all the right cables and connections, however, when I plugged it in, there was a very loud and fast clicking sound. The product was to convert the audio out signal from a Philips TV to an older stereo receiver. The TV to converter box cable was a digital RCA cord. The converter box to the receiver was a standard RCA cord - RED/WHITE. I spent over an hour on an online chat with Philips TV support and concluded the TV was fine,.,..it was a defective box. I plan on returning it and trying another one. Good luck to me!

Posted by: from IL, USA on 11/09/2012saw several bad reviews about these and I was extremely skeptical about a purchase but with Best Buy's return program who cares. It works just fine. Connected it to a 16 year old receiver and it's great and I didn't have to spend much at all. Yes there is a humming sound when you have the tv off and the receiver on but it's gone when you have the tv on or the receiver off.
