I live out in the sticks and the power isnt all that there reliable, so I began searching the web for a good power back up at a fair price. Luckily I checked out best buy, online. I found this beauty and it was on special. It was the best back up for under $150 out there. And now that Ive got it installed, I would have paid $150 for it , no lie. One thing I would warn about, it has 3 power settings, energy saver/ bad, and Balanced/ ok, but holds back max power / I prefer the High Performance setting just to peak the PC. It defaults at Med (balanced) until you change it. I missed that when I hooked it up. I love it, its sleek, modern design, has tons of bells and a warning buzzer that wakes the dead, LOL. Its got plenty of outlets, I did add a 3 recepter cube plug in to one of the battery slots, just for the small stuff, clock radio/ 6 volt power adapter for the cordless phone. This baby does it all for me. Im NOT sorry I bought this beauty. I rarely write reviews but I got such a great price on this I had to write about this thing.

Product allows my router to stay on continueously5

Due to power fluctuations my router would disconnect and then reconnect. This would cause me to loose my vpn connections. The UPS solved my problem.1 out of 1 found this review helpful.

What can I say. When the power goes off my computer does not. I got it on sale for $40. I don't think it is worth full price. I didn't find the specs that much better than some of the lower priced APC models.1 out of 1 found this review helpful.

Nice Home Office System5

So far the system works really well. I got it to replace another UPS system I was using that needed to go to another computer. I really like the software that came with it that gives approximate time remaining on charge and shutdown the computer automatically after a defined time. I like the power saver thing too. Overall, has been working really well and has saved me three times from power outages.1 out of 1 found this review helpful.

Great for SOHO5

Connected to my windows home server (WHS), cable modem, and wireless router. Connected unit to my WHS using USB cable. and installed software. After fully charging, I unplugged to test. Server ran for about 10 min before shutting itself down. Cable modem and router continued to run for another 15 min. Worked great!1 out of 1 found this review helpful.
