Posted by: MPX571 from on 01/09/2013My disappointment is more with best buy's customer service than the product. I've only had my A200 for a couple of months and the headphone jack quit working after only 2 uses. I have the geek squad warranty so I took it in to be repaired or replaced. I have been told that this tablet is no longer available and my only option was to exchange it for another tablet. Of course the have nothing else with the same price with the same specs so I'd be spending more money. After arguing with the manager they said they would have one shipped from a store that had one in stock in another part of the state and I could make the exchange when it arrived. It's been almost a week and the local store has not heard from the shipping store as of yet on the status. The tablet itself works great except for the speakers. They are horrible, with the volume at maximum you can barely hear any sound. I was going to buy a set of portable speakers to solve this problem but, wait, my headphone jack doesn't work! Other than the speakers and customer service, I have no complaints about this product. The processor is very fast and I love having access to the android market for apps.

Six month review for Acer A200
Posted by: MarcSr from Woodbridge, VA on 12/04/2012I've had my A200 for six months now and I won't bore you with needless details about how good it is. For the money its a great tablet, and the one reason I bought it is because it has a full USB port. I hook up my card reader and I can view all my photos from my Canon DSLR. I wasn't able to do that with any other android except the Toshiba Thrive which is almost twice the price. All of the apps work as expected. Wi-Fi is good and I have a micro 16GB SD card installed so I have plenty of storage space. I added Adobe Photoshop Touch which works pretty good. I don't do a lot of editing on my photos, so this works better than expected. If there is one thing I don't like is the cases for tablets. I wound up getting a generic case made by Targus and it works fairly well, but with a little thought Acer could have made some better ones.
I average about 8 hours of power, but I also carry my charger with me. Sometimes the tablet freezes up but I just close some aps and its all right. If you're into a lot of techs and specs, you can do better, but if you are looking for a good "chevy or ford" type of tablet with that all important USB port, then this is the one to get.
