Excellent Movie

Some good attention paid to character development, and not just a bunch of action. Both picture quality and audio quality are fantastic.

Fun superhero movie

Posted by: from Waterford, MI on 04/13/2013This movie is a lot grittier than the Sam Raimi versions which frankly were getting a little tedious. Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone play well off each other and it's nice to see Peter Parker not be a little goody two shoes for once.

Spider-Man reboot

Posted by: from California on 04/13/2013The Amazing Spider-Man brings back the webslinger to the big screen. This time in reboot fashion. Peter Parker is on a quest to find out what ever happened to his parents. Along the way, Parker falls in love with Gwen Stacy and gains super powers by a genetically engineered spider. Parker uses his new found powers to find the man who killed Uncle Ben. He disguises himself as Spider-Man to not only find Uncle Ben's killer, but to protect the innocent from bad guys. And one of those bad guys includes his mentor Curt Connors who has transformed himself into a large lizard. Parker must defeat Connors and his evil plan. Great film. A great start of the new Spider-Man film saga.
