His previous Mac laptop lasted 6 years or so before it needed replacing so this was an obvious go to for the brand. I have had two other non-apple laptops that have only lasted about two years a piece. They may have cost less, but this was the way to go for us wanting something that we could count on. Had this one for a little over a month now and everything is good to go so far. It was simple to set up and have old documents switched to the new laptop. It is incredibly light and fast. We highly recommend this to anyone wanting make an upgrade.

My daughter got a Mac for college and she raved about it too. I've had it for almost 2 months and I'm so pleases with it. I did a tutorial and it was as easy as pie. The size is so perfect and it has great battery life too.

GREAT service from Best Buy and GREAT product

I had some electronics I was not really using anymore so I decided to go to the Best Buy in Fairless Hills, PA to see if I could do a trade-in. From the very start i received an excellent customer service from the staff and they kindly did my trade-in with no problems at all ( which I really appreciate #. Once I had the money from the trade-in I went and got the Macbook Air there at the same Best Buy.
I also received excellent customer servive in that area of the store. They were courteous and willing to explain everything about the Macbook Air and the protection plans.
The product itself is amazing: LIGHTNING FAST performance # I was surfing the web, listening to music, viewing videos with no problems at all ) , great screen resolution, sound and beautiful appearance. Setting it up was a breeze and I was up in running in just a few minutes with all my stuff from Itunes already in my new Macbook Air. I got the 128 GB version and I do recommend spending the extra $$$$ for this, specially if you have a lot of pictures, videos amd music.
The shopping experience was really good. I recommend this product and Best Buy. Thanks very much to the staff there for the great service!

How can you breathe without Air?

My initial thought was for home use and eventually integrate it into a small business style use. I wanted something that was lightweight and easily portable but could use as a Pc. It was a fun device but I of course for the third time buying a windows product, bought a "lemon". This time however I was able to get it returned within the time allowed by best buy. I chose the upgraded version and the keyboard to go with, so best buy gave me store credit and I was able to turn around and exchange it for my Mac air. I haven't looked back since. It runs faster, quieter, and cooler. The weight difference was hardly noticeable and with having an iPhone 5 the two sync up much easier. I can say I probably will never buy a windows product again. The savings isn't that great, and definitely not worth the headache they cause. The only reason I even considered one again, was all the reviews I had heard that windows was "stepping up their game". Yes adding a few catchy gadgets or apps may be cool. But I'll take the quality of my Mac air any day over that headache.

Limited hard drive space

Posted by: Jes516 from Long Beach NY on 05/14/2013Since I love my IPad and a new iPhone I thought I'd buy an 11" Macbook air to replace my recently departed Vaio..I bought the model with the largest hard drive and the salesman at Best Buy told me Id have more hard drive space than Id need....however when I went to migrate only my music and photos from my pc it showed that I would go negative in hard drive space. And I didn't even try to download any documents. I don't have that many pics or songs..I don't buy from iTunes....not my thing...so this was very bad...and to make it worse the mac had difficulty connecting to my wifi unless I was in the room with the router...and then after trying to migrate for first time the battery gave out before ANYTHING MIGRATED. This is a disaster.
