Posted by: shanntheman from baltimore,MD on 05/17/2013i bought this shuffle for work to replace a sony mp3 player that had been on the outs. the battery life on the sony was gone. the shuffle in my opinion doesnt last as long as my sony first did. the shuffle has less storage. if u are on the go and need something for that..its great. If u are looking for a high tech mp3 player go for a touch or a nano :) gets the job done otherwise. im happy with it.

Great for Runners

I hate running and found that while listening to music, I can run for a longer period of time as I am not thinking about how much I hate running. With that being said, the Shuffle is a great little iPod for runners. The reason why I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 is the limited options you have in listening to music. If you load a giant playlist that fits the situation, then the Shuffle is excellent. However, if you have a variety of music and are not using it for running or similar specific activity, it is difficult to listen to albums without using voice commands. For those who like to shuffle their music, this iPod is excellent. Otherwise, just good.

It's easy to use as I am tech impaired, so that is important, and it's just what I've always wanted.......It's just so cute, too.....I mainly love it's ease of use.

I travel a lot so put a variety of music on each. One is for my walk/run of 5 miles a day, so it holds a huge amount of music for me. The other two are for driving long trips and wanting to put it on random so I have a library of music to enjoy on those trips.
