Apple - iPad™ Digital Camera Connection Kit

I take hundreds of photos of my daughter's softball team during tournaments & needed to be able to review the photos while out of town for tournaments, so I could post them to facebook. This product allows me to do so on my iPad & now I get the photos posted within a day or two, rather than having to wait a week or two after we get home.

I was kind of surprised that this worked with my old iPod touch. I bought this by accident and figured I would at least give it a try on the last remaining 30 pin connector-equipped device I have. Wow, it worked! I don't think it really should have and YMMV but it is nice to be able to scoot things over to the iPod I always have in my pocket.

Bought one of these for my dad who has very little tech knowledge. He learned it after 2 tries on the iPad. Course he lost the first one so had to buy another. That one worked great too. Perhaps Apple can make a " find my digital camera connection kit" alarm in case he loses this one too.

You don't have to wait to you get home to upload your pictures, do it right on your iPad, send to family members of Facebook, show them what fun you are having right away!

Easy to use and works well. It won't allow you or take pictures from iPad or iPhone to other devices however. Buy something else if you need to do it. best with digital cameras to take out chi to download.

Although the store employee did not even know what I was talking about when I inquired about this product, I was able to find it. Very easy to use to transfer images from camera memory card to the IPad.

Really good conector to transfer photos to (usb and sd card reader) and from (those usb connectors built for iphones and ipad with internal memory). It's for the old ipad 30-pin connector.

The device does what it's designed to do-provide a quick and easy way to download and view pictures from my wildlife camera. A card reader/viewer was a more expensive option.
