I prefer a big screen since I also use the computer for work. I am a web designer and freelance wrier, so it's been perfect for what I need on a day-to-day basis.
The sound quality is also great, and so is the screen resolution. I've finally gotten used to the backwards scrolling, that was interesting at first! I highly recommend this. I also chose this model because of the disc drive since the retina display model did not have it. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.

Enjoying benefits of greater speed with a MAC!

I was able to edit pictures in a day - would have taken me a week or even a month to deal with that many on my old PC. So many old pictures to go through and there was no end in site. Now I see the light at the end of the tunnel!

Excellent Laptop

The RAM failed after 5 weeks (MacBook Pro would not boot) and after the 4GB that came with it was reinstalled everything was fine. I am now looking to find additional RAM.

In this case the Webroot Anti-Virus program and upgrade to 8GB Memory and 512 GB SSD Hard Drive was done also. Very happy with Best Buy's staff and support. Thank you.

Fun and Exciting

I was not very excited at first about learning a new operating system and I remember in the past trying to use an apple computer and it was not very user friendly so I was reluctant to make this purchase, the main reason I wanted to get the laptop was for my church so I could stream the service in a better quality and I know that apple is top notch with media projects. At first it was difficult to maneuver but I was still trying to do things like a PC. So i went to the applestore and signed up for their classes and it has a self paced tutorial that starts at day one. After i got my mindset where it needed to be, the more I used it, the more it just made sense. With a pc I couldn't stand using such things as the laptops touch pad this was the most frustrating part of the laptop, so I always had to purchase a mouse on the side to make my experience better. With the macbook pro the touch pad is the best part. It is so fluid it's like touching an ipad touch screen. I can zip and zoom through files, web pages and media projects with ease. The speed and reliability are top notch. The battery life is amazing and I absolutely love that I can minimize things completely out of the way and bring them up later when I am ready for them. I can be watching netflix close the macbook pro and let it go to sleep and when I open it again the video is playing right where I left off. I could go on and on about how awesome this thing is but I think you get the picture. The only negative thing that I have to say is I wish that it supported iPad apps like windows 8 supports windows 8 apps. But such is life I'm sure that will change one day.

I am very happy with the Mini so this purchase makes perfect sense.
The evolution of the Apple Laptops has impressed me for the last 4 or 5 years and after using it for a couple weeks I know I made a great decision

After a month of heavy use I'm sold. This is a great system to use! If I could do everything at my day job on this OS I would ask for one there as well.
Ease of use, features, installs... They are all so much better on the Mac. Thumbs up to Apple!
