Posted by: Bawb3 from Youngstown, OH on 05/21/2013I bought my girlfriend one of these for her birthday because her old nano died.
From what I can tell, the audio quality is good, the battery life is good. The UI is really easy to navigate and use.
Honestly though, If I were buying an MP3 player for myself, I would just get a simple Sansa Clip Zip. You can put custom firmware on them and the audio quality beats out almost any Ipod, they have expandable storage, and for a fraction of the price to boot.
But for a simple to use, nice small MP3 player the nano is just fine for people that don't like to tinker around with their devices.

Convenient size, sounds great!

Posted by: OldRadioEars from St. Louis, MO on 05/18/2013The small size, capacity and sound are great. It could use better water resistance and the shake to shuffle is nice...when it works at all. I generally listen in my truck with it connected to the AUX on the stereo. 95% of the time shake to shuffle doesn't work at all. Other times, when it does, it jumps out of the playlist and I have to start it over again. Overall, still a great little device.

Posted by: iloveshelling from Indianapolis,IN on 05/17/2013Even though this was more expensive than the Shuffle, it was well worth it. The extra features make all the difference. The screen size is more than adequate.

great size for running
4
Posted by: trackercb from marshfield, wi on 05/13/2013wanted something small and lightweight to run with, this unit is great for that, it is just what I was looking for and it holds plenty of music or I can tune in the local radio stations. the downside is that while listening to it in my docking station, it sometimes pauses and needs to be restarted.

I enjoy my nano ipod

Posted by: LadyVee from chinle arizona on 05/11/2013I luv my ipod nano, it has tons of memory and it is quick. I haven't really played with the nike fitness stuff, but it is a cool tool to have. I would like to take pictures with it and get on the internet. Its small and easy to carry. I wish the user manual came with it because I hate to have to get on the internet to read more about the features.
