Good battery life, bad earphone socket3

The long battery life and a decent amount of memory is always a plus for any mp3 players. It came with 8 apps. The shake to shuffle is a good feature if you listen to it while being still in between shuffles, otherwise it's really annoying when you are running because it keeps changing (best to turn in off while running#. The socket is intended for a 3-ring earphone #barely works on tape adapters if you are one of those people like me who still drives their old beat-up/down trucks w/ tape players <-- driving hazard when you have to keep adjusting earphone to get the audio fed back). The socket is very sensitive to movement that even when you are listening to regular music, it will tell you it has no signal because AM/FM signal seems to be coming from the earphone as well, and it stops the regular music from playing when it does get interrupted. I went back to my old Zune because it's not as sensitive and works well with my old tape adapters. I'll just have to deal with its larger size compared to this iPod.- Age Range : 35-44

I returned my ipod touch and bought this ipod. Perfect for my needs. Since I already have an iphone I didnt need all the apps and extras. I love it so far. Love the FM radio feature. Love the ease of use. Love the quality. Love the battery life. The only thing I really don't like is that the volume doesn't lock when the screen locks and I'm afraid I'm going to break it since I'm rough with things and it's so small. Definitely doesn't have anything to do with the quality though, that's just me.- Age Range : 35-44

Great Little iPod4

Although we love our iPod, I really wish it had buttons on the face of it that you could feel. I do not like having to look down at the iPod to see what I want to do. On older generations, all you had to do was feel your way around to change songs. Otherwise, it's a great device.- Number of MP3 Players Owned : 3-5

Like any other iPod it does what I need it to do in playing music. Haven't used it for radio or videos yet, but its nice to know I have the option if I choose to in the future.- Age Range : 25-34
