I would make a recommendation to increase the storage because I have the 64 gb and I am rapidly running out of space. I recommend this to everyone that doesnt like to carry around their entire music library with them.

Great device for travel

The 64GB is large enough to hold plenty of music, apps and some favorite videos.
I highly recommend the 64GB 5th gen iPod Touch. Believe me it can get filled up quickly with music, apps, etc. so that's why I went with the 64GB version.
I love the blue color although I use a semi clear cover to keep the scratches down to a minimum.
I also like that the iPod has a camera.

Excellent overall improvement

The major surprise was in discovering that the charger port is different from the prior ipod touch players. I wanted to obtain a charging station/external speaker, and this is what alerted me to the fact that the a lightening port/charging station is needed... Unfortunately, the lightening 30 pin port devices are not in plentiful supply for this ipod touch yet. I found one that was designed also for the iphone 5, and it works wonderfully with the ipod touch 5th generation, as well. Now I can play the ipod touch 5th generation with an external speaker, as well as with my ear buds....and charge it on the speaker docking station at the same time.
