Thinking that I had a computer already, I purchased the iPod Nano. I purchased the iPod Touch based on someone's recommendation and am really enjoying the features, such as being able to have aps and establishing a "library". Because the Touch requires WiFi access to go online, I was glad when my phone company offered this phone for free when I extended my contract. I use the Touch to store things like my music/ book library and certain aps that I can wait to use with a WiFi access. I use this phone for on-the-go aps such as gps and discount websites such as Best Buys's certificate website.
I'd like to thank the people at the local Best Buy who spent a lot of time helping me to make a decision, attach the case, and were even able to upload my photos from my previous two year old phone from a different brand.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

It works great, it's fast, it works well with me car's bluetooth system (mazda CX7) and best of all it was free......although you still had to pay the taxes. But that was less than $40, which I think is awesome for a smart phone, better yet an iPhone.4 out of 6 found this review helpful.

i like this phone, but its kinda slow. i have a 16GB and its really slow. i may have to to many apps to too many pics but its slow! i like it cause you can take pics, internet, facebook use, email, txt, apps, etc. you can listen to music and also txt or talk on the phone. you can also talk on the phone and do anything you wont on the phone. i would prefer the 4s.2 out of 2 found this review helpful.

I am still learning on my IPhone, but I love everything about it. I love how the contacts have email and other info right there for you. I love how you can send a contact from one phone to another. I love that you can look something up while you are talking to someone! I haven't learned all there is to this phone, but eventually I will and I will come back with more good points!!!!3 out of 4 found this review helpful.

This is my first smart phone, and although it is not the newest iphone it is amazing to a first timer like me. I am having alot of fun with using all of the features and apps. It responds quickly, and there are so many things that you can do with it. I guess the only negative thing that I have to say is that the battery life is fairly short and I am charging it everyday. I really can't compare it to any other phone out there since I don't have any experience with them, but I love this phone!1 out of 1 found this review helpful.

I have enjoyed using the 3GS (and especially appreciate that it's free, with a contract that I needed to renew anyway :-)). Very simple and user-friendly. This is my first smartphone and I am glad it is easy to learn and navigate. I like the shape as well. I have noticed though that it loses battery life fairly quickly. Thankfully it does not take long to recharge. It may not have the special features of the newer iPhone models but for now this is just fine for what I need.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

With all of the advantages in iPhone 4 I still prefer the 3GS for one simple reason - it feels more comfortable and natural in my hand becasue the edges are curved instead of squared. It is fast enough and has all the features I need.16 out of 19 found this review helpful.

I Use Mac OS X All The Time and My iPod Touch 4th Gen.
but For a Phone its Age it Really Shines I Say The Only Thing I Can Find Wrong with This Phone is the Lower Space Because I Have Quit a Bit Of Apps On My Phone but otherwise This Phone is Great If This is Your First iPhone I Got this at The AT&T Store But Im Sure If I Got It Here I Would Be Saying The Same Thing
now Unless Your A Power user and Really need a Faster Phone I'd Recommend That You Go Look for Faster iPhones but for Normal Texter's or People Who Don't Need to be on the curb of Technology8 out of 15 found this review helpful.

I got this phone for my birthday last year and I just recently lost it, but I'm not so sad because the phone had completely horrible battery life and slow internet connection. I rarely ever used the internet on the phone and it would still die out within about an hour or two. Sometimes it would never even load. Sometimes it wouldn't notify me of incoming calls (losing me of a big interview one day!) and receives texts horribly slow at times. I honestly think the iPhone is the most overrated phone out there and is way too expensive for what it's worth.
However, with that said, everything else about the phone is completely perfect. I will miss the camera and the fun apps, and the overall appearance of the phone. I loved how easy it was to scroll through all my texts and pictures that accumulated for about a whole year worth of messages all on one screen without having to click back and forth.
Cons: Extremely HORRIBLE battery life, slow internet, sometimes it misses calls and receives late texts. Also it's basically a requirement for you to buy a case for this phone. It looks gorgeous until you touch it.

Easy to use iOS and flawless syncing with iTunes library without third party apps. Powerful and decently sized touch screen. Form factor is great for fitting in a pocket. Access to tons of apps via iTunes on the phone as well as wireless purchase and download of purchased items. Ability to connect wifi, and tether.6 out of 7 found this review helpful.
