Delivery

Some items require scheduled delivery due to their size and weight. These items include major appliances, TVs 51" or larger and furniture.

For most items, delivery includes:

  • Haul-away and recycling of your old item. Or we'll move it to another place in your home.
  • Basic hookup of your new item.

Note: Some appliances (such as dishwashers and many gas appliances) require specialty installation, which must be purchased separately. See installation information for specific appliances.

Delivery Details

  • The day before delivery, we'll call you with a 2-hour delivery window. (We're unable to accommodate specific delivery times.)
  • Deliveries occur between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
  • Be sure an adult 18 or older is home to sign for delivery. (Must be 19 or older in AL and NE.)
  • Before the delivery team arrives, please clear a pathway to the room where you want the item delivered. The pathway should be clear of all obstacles and have at least a ½-inch clearance on all sides.

Note: Special order deliveries will not be delivered beyond the entryway of the home or garage.

If your order includes other items that do not require scheduled delivery, they will be shipped separately.

Haul-Away and Recycling

We'll haul away your old item for free when a qualifying replacement product is delivered by Geek Squad® or Best Buy Home Delivery. Then we'll make sure it's properly and safely recycled.

  • Additional items can be hauled away and recycled for $20 per item.
  • Items are responsibly recycled by our licensed, third-party recycling partners.
  • Our recycling partners ensure that the various commodities are sent to locations where they will be recycled and repurposed into new products. See BestBuy.com/Recycling

Note: Special order items do not include basic hookup or haul-away and recycling.

Fitness Equipment

Fitness equipment can only be delivered to the threshold of your residence. Unpacking and setup are not included.

Delivery Cancellation

You may cancel your delivery order any time prior to the day of scheduled delivery. Call 1-888-BEST BUY (1-888-237-8289).

Delivery Restrictions

Sorry, but we cannot deliver to PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses.

Special Order Items

These items are part of our expanded online selection and are not available in Best Buy stores.


Special Order Delivery

  • An agent will call you when your order is ready to schedule for delivery.
  • Delivery timelines may be longer than for non-special order products.
  • An adult age 18 or older must be home to sign for delivery. (Must be 19 or older in AL and NE.)
  • Item will be delivered into the entryway of the home or garage only.
  • Delivery does not include placement in room of choice, installation, unpacking or recycling.
