    Army Wives: Nobody's Perfect
Joan returns home early, determined to get her marriage back on track. Denise misses Major Weatherford's party, where Claudia Joy overhears a heated, domestic dispute between Lenore Baker and her husband moments before he collapses, leaving Michael temporarily in charge at Ft. Marshall. ~ Jeanette Martin, Rovi

    Army Wives: Dirty Laundry
Being between a rock and a hard place would probably be easier for Claudia Joy than standing between Michael and her friend, Hannah (Ann Cusack), a war widow. Hannah is determined to testify before Congress on the possible cover-up of the friendly-fire death of her husband, and the issue causes strife on the base. But no one feels more conflicted than Claudia Joy, whose loyalty to her husband is pitted against her loyalty to---and personal feelings for---her friend. ~ Jeanette Martin, Rovi

    Army Wives: Goodbye Stranger
The post is at high alert due to a possible terrorist plot. Not that the citizens needed any more drama in their lives: Joan and Roland are falling apart despite news that should bring them closer together; Michael struggles with Amanda's departure for college; and Roxy, Pamela and Denise are forced to say good-bye to their men way sooner than expected. Even Marilyn has difficulty letting go of her soon-to-be ex, but it isn't exactly a fond farewell. ~ Jeanette Martin, Rovi

    Army Wives: After Birth
Roxy deals with the news that Trevor has been deployed, then helps Denise with defensive training after she catches Jeremy attacking his mother. Pamela is forced to care for the twins while the biological parents are out of town. Joan's erratic behavior causes concern for Roland. ~ Jeanette Martin, Rovi

    Army Wives: Only the Lonely
The Holdens plan a family vacation to get Amanda away from Jeremy; Denise decides to return to work as a hospital nurse; Pamela runs into an old friend while Roxy makes a new one, a recently widowed single mother who must leave the post due to her husband's death. ~ Jeanette Martin, Rovi

Army Wives: A Tribe Is Born
The series begins with Roxy (Sally Pressman) moving onto the base after marrying a soldier following a four-day courtship. There she forms an unlikely friendship with a diverse group of spouses, including a powerful colonel's wife (Kim Delaney). ~ Jeanette Martin, Rovi

    Army Wives: Rules of Engagement
Trevor asks Roxy to quit after a fight at the bar. Joan's imminent promotion causes Roland to question her commitment to fixing their marriage. ~ Jeanette Martin, Rovi

    Army Wives: Truth and Consequences
Frank refuses to see Jeremy before his deployment, but he reconsiders after meeting with Amanda and confronts his son about his abusive behavior. Elsewhere, Roland confesses to Joan. ~ Jeanette Martin, Rovi

Army Wives: The Art of Separation
Denise confronts her son about his abusive behavior. Roxy runs into her ex, who refuses to sign the paperwork relinquishing his parental rights. Pamela comes clean about her pregnancy in a public announcement. Joan deals with a soldier under her command who has a mental breakdown. ~ Jeanette Martin, Rovi

    Army Wives: Hail & Farewell
Roxy's mother pays an unexpected visit and asks Pamela to help her plan a birthday party for Roxy to prove she has changed. Jeremy decides to enlist, upsetting his mother, while the Holdens try to stop his budding romance with Amanda by telling her of his past abusive behavior. ~ Jeanette Martin, Rovi

    Army Wives: Who We Are
Denise gets a surprise; Claudia Joy is concerned about Amanda's relationship with Jeremy; Roxy's mother shows up unannounced. ~ Jeanette Martin, Rovi

    Army Wives: Independence Day
Roxy learns a secret about Marilyn; Pamela gets bad news at Claudia Joy's Independence Day picnic; Roland asks Colonel Holden to be lenient on Joan, who is considering retiring rather than face court-martial. ~ Jeanette Martin, Rovi

Army Wives: One of Our Own
Denise waits for news on her husband as word of his downed chopper spreads. Roland and Claudia Joy are held hostage by a disturbed soldier who has a secret past with Joan. ~ Jeanette Martin, Rovi

Posted by: from on 01/27/2009I love this show so much!! I am a army wife and when i watch this show it makes me feel like i am watching my own life. The whole story line and everything is exactly what army wives go through. Every army wife goes through this so everything about it is the truth. Some people think it is not what real army wives go through but they are not army wives so they do not know what we go through. The people who are really army wives know what we go through and will say the same thing. It is a great show and i watch this thing over and over everyday. I can say i have one addiction and that is the show army wives LOL!!!!!

Posted by: from Florida on 01/24/2009I only purchased this dvd because the guy I'm dating is in the military. Even though he says that most of the events do not happen on military bases, I love how ABC brought the series to life. From watching the dvd, I don't think they have stretched the truth that that much. I can actually visualize some of the events taking place. Overall, I highly recommend this dvd. It gives you an inside look at some things that could possibly take place. It's great acting, drama, characters, etc. I just love it! I can't wait for the next season.

Posted by: from Texas on 10/12/2008I love this show I have to watch the show every week and people know not to call me when it is on, because I will not answer or I will hang up on them. This will be the first TV on DVD I have ever purchased and trust me it will be money well spent and it will be well watched. I cannot wait for them to come out with Season 2 on DVD. The storyline is great but it really does not depict the true life of an Army Wife. I hope that this show remains on air for a long time and that it produces TV on DVD for each season.

Posted by: from Fort Riley on 06/07/2008I love this show bc its a great drama but as far as it being reality...its not. Sorry but this is not everyday life for an Army wife. Im so happy they are coming out with season 2 and that season 1 is on DVD. Now when I watch it I get to listen to my husband tell me everything that isnt accurate...great now he can rewind it and everything! =D

Posted by: from Clovis, CA on 06/02/2008This show is an awesome one. It depicts the life of a real army wife and army wives across the nation agree. It helps take a look into what types of lives they live and the problems they have to deal with everyday. Great show and it's a must watch.

Posted by: from BAFB, LA on 06/02/2008This is a heartfelt series that can touch anyone, but especially touches the hearts and lives of the military spouse. It is the only tv series I have ever bought on DVD. I would recommend this to anyone.
