Not as good as book, but ok....
Ok, so I understand they had to leave some things out, but completely changing it?? Come on!!! It was like some of it was a COMPLETE LIE!! I really hope they don't make a part 2 to this series. I watched it with my husband (who is going now going to read the books as well) and I would tell him which parts were in the book and which parts were NOT in the book. My favorite part was in fact the dinner scene (even though that didn't happen in the book)...just because that was the only real "magic" that happened in the movie. Where were the storms? Her hair twirling? Boo Radley the dog?? Please people, do yourselves a favor, read the books!!!

Good Young Adult Movie
I have never read the book series this is associated with so I can't really compare the accuracy between the movie and the book, but I really enjoyed the movie. Sometimes the acting ability of the lead female character is subpar but overall I really enjoyed the movie. The only DVD extra's were a few deleted scenes, nothing worth while though.
After reading the books I was super excited to watch the movie and can say that I was pleased with the movie as well. We bought it before we watched it and I will be watching it much more now that it's ours.

Great love story.
I love anything that has to do with the supernatural. Especially witches. This is a great adaptation of a young adult novel that involves love and magic. A coming of age story that's addictive and fun.

Fun movie
Enjoyed this movie. It was nice to get away from vampires and werewolves toward the witches. Not having read the books, I was surprised at the end, and saddened.
