Connection fair, retractable? Not so much

Posted by: KQueen from Illinois on 02/27/2013Took it out of the box and was immediately disappointed. I slowly drew slack on the line to instert the cable into my AUX adapter in my car... It did not retract after use. It's stuck at its current length and I cannot draw anymore line from it.
It does work, however, in terms of its use with the radio connection and sound quality is fine.

Good Cable for iPhone

The smaller jack permits connection with iPhone or iPod devices with protective cases. Other cables do not work, since the jack 'housing' is too large in diameter. The only draw back - the cable is too short.

Poor Quality

When she plugged her ipod into the aux port to play through the stereo the sound was staticy. We tried pulling the cord out all the way thinking that it being retracted was affecting it. Nothing helped. She will be buying another one.

Cord Tangled first use

Posted by: ucldbmine from Georgia on 01/12/2012The first time my husband tried to extend the cord for use it became tangled within the unit and has never been fixed. You are better off just purchasing a regular cord, as that is what this turns into anyway.

This is not something I want to buy every six months it should last much longer than that especially since I am so careful with all my gadgets as they are very expensive and I like them to LOOK new for a very long time!!!

Terrible product

It does not retract as advertised - even after pulling it back and forth several times. If you get one side of the cord in, the other sides sticks out. This is very annoying and frustrating. With such an expensive price, you would think it would actually work and not feel like you are going to break the cord. You are much better off getting a non-retractable cord at a lower price since the audio quality will be the same. You will most likely get the same length of cord without the bulky case.
