May work better for some1

This product may work for some, but it didn't work for me. I returned it and bought a Monster 800 and had the same problem, so now I wonder if the issue has more to do with my particular car than anything else. I have a Subaru wagon and the radio antenna is integrated with the rear glass. My specific problems with this product were that it would autotune to frequencies that were not ideal, more often than not I could not get it to tune into the frequency I manually selected, and when it did, I encountered loud, persistant static, and occasionally but briefly, music.2 out of 5 found this review helpful.

my cd player quit working in my vehicle so I bought this as another option. I really like it. Works great. Minimal static. Was great when we traveled as our satellite radio, we had to wait for the assigned station to go to static, this we could quickly find one.1 out of 1 found this review helpful.

An exellent low cost low impact way to add "I" capability to a non digital car audio system. Plug it into cig lighter, tune the radio to the displayed FM freq and listen. How simple is that?1 out of 1 found this review helpful.

I bought this to, obviously, be able to listen to my ipod over my car speakers, and i bought it well over a year ago, maybe two years at this point. the woman helping me said it was the best FM transmitter they carried. if that's the case, then the rest of them must REALLY stink. at its best, the sound is fuzzy. it's considerably quieter than the normal radio. the transmitter is sensetive--if it slides between the seat and the center console, the signal dies and it's horribly loud static. it's a headache and not worth the money.

A friend of mine bought one of these and I tried it out with my iPhone. I was looking for a better FM transmitter for my iPod & iPhone that got better reception. This was a great buy--I barely notice any static and the sound quality is nice. I do occasionally notice that the volume quiets itself for a few seconds then returns to the normal volume. Not sure if it's a wire loose or what, but it's not too much to deal with. Overall, a great buy that I would recommend.2 out of 2 found this review helpful.

the transmitter died after only 16 months of moderate use....unfortunately it appears to be one of the few products available for both charging and transmitting itunes/spotify from iphones.1 out of 1 found this review helpful.

This is my 3rd or 4th attempt at listening to my iPhone in my car. The first was fine, but eventually the connector wore out.
The next two were junk from amazon. Cheap price, and not useful.
This was probably more expensive then all the others combined, but it has no arm, which is what caused most of the problems with the first, and the reception is at least as good as the first. It is still a little noisy, especially on overcast days, but it is perfectly usable. I live in a moderately large city, so lots of radio stations.
If you are looking for a decent solution to listen to iPhone via your car radio, this is a good choice.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.
