We purchased this TV stand for our Samsung 50" Smart TV UN50ES6900FXZA and had it assembled in one hour, it probably can be done in less because it’s so easy to assemble. It took us one hour because when we were trying to fasten the top glass with the screws, we were looking for inserts for the screws not realizing, we were using the wrong glass shelf. The glass shelf with the inserts attached to it was the third shelf in the box. We hastily chose the first glass shelf on top obviously, without checking the other shelves first. It came with two assembling kits, one for the actual stand and the other for the mounting. The kits are separated to avoid confusion and the parts are easily labeled on the packaging to insure correct usage. There are two Allen keys/Hex keys provided; one with a Phillips screwdriver head. It even has a dark espresso colored marker in case you accidently scratch the wood. We didn't use the mounting because it looks fantastic without it. This stand is very sturdy and spacious. When we purchased it the sales associate warned us that it was heavy. When it was delivered, the delivery guy warned us that it was heavy. I too, must warn you that if you purchase this TV stand, IT IS HEAVY. The glass shelves are mainly what make it extremely heavy, which in my book, is great when considering the weight of the items you may place on it. It has slacks in the back to organize wires to give it a neater appearance. It is true to its specifications. It’s listed as Dark Wood Espresso, but it blends in perfectly with our Dark Wood Cherry Coffee and End tables. It looks better in person than the pictures show. The width and depth in the picture appear much smaller. It can be assembled by one person, depending on individual strength, but I would recommend two. Nice and good looking TV stand. Average price was about $300 for this 3 way stand. Got it on sale for $249.99. The only bas thing was it was defective right out of the box. The main piece of the stand had a bad weld. I called up Best Buy before exchanging it. They wanted me to bring everything back and I said no because it was very heavy. I told them that all I wanted to exchange was the frame only. They did do the exchange and I'm very happy with my new stand.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

lots of room for sat. receivers, game boxes, blue rays etc.

Wanted an alternative to wall mounting my new television. This was the only item they had that would fit into my planned location. I did not want to drill into the walls in the home I am currently in as I will eventually relocate. This offered me the ability to have up to a 55" flat screen placed at a higher elevation level than any of the other available stands, which allows for better viewing in out home.
I really do wish that they had a unit that had enclosed shelves as the shelves on this unit are black glass and are a major dust magnet. I would be very wary of putting this into an environment with young active kids or the occasionally carless teen as the first wresting body/soccer ball/etc. impact and I'm not sure it would survive (parent of very large and active boys).0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

I brought the stand for my television in my bedroom and it is a perfect match to the cherry wood bedroom furniture. I didn't use the wall mount and it fits perfect for the 46inch television. You could also use it for a larger television as well. Perfect!!0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

Nice Looking Stand For Our Bedroom5

We purchased this for our 50" Panasonic Plasma T.V. It is set at it's highest point (TV mount) so that we could see it while lying in our bed. It holds the weight of my TV with no problem, although I cannot see more than a 50" on this stand. Please refer to my two pictures I have included.
It took my wife and I about 45 minutes to put together. Instructions are plain and simple. It does a pretty good job at concealing all my cables. I have two HDMI cables, two power cables and a network cable. It has room for more if I need it.
Once you have the TV on the stand in the way I chose to mount it, be aware that moving the stand into place becomes difficult. In my scenario I had to push it back against the wall, so it took some time to get it there carefully. You have to take care when moving it as the weight of the TV wants to tip the stand. Once in place the stand is very sturdy.
I would recommend this to anyone. I don't think I would use it in a living room with children (we have two 3 and 13 months) without securing it to a wall for added safety. Overall we are very happy with it..1 out of 1 found this review helpful.
