Pure Jackyl at there best

Posted by: RocknrollOutlaw from on 08/29/2012Get the Best Buy collection with the DVD and bonus tracks cause it is a awesome collection. This collection of new songs is pure Jackyl, it rocks. The DVD is great it has 3 music videos and has a sit down with the band and they basically give a history of the band with some great road stories. Just get it you won't be disappointed if you are a Jackyl fan.

20 years and still going strong!

Posted by: Kenabrue from Attica, IN on 08/01/2012First, just to be clear, "Best in Show" is NOT a "Best Of" or compilation album, as some have mistakenly assumed. This is NEW material. That being said...
This album is pure Jackyl. It's loud, hard, naughty, greasy, gritty, irreverent, and catchy with a little twang and a lot of groove. It's everything rock and roll should be, and it goes a long way toward capturing the in-your-face essence of Jackyl's live performances (if you've ever seen them play live, then you know what I mean), which is no mean feat for a studio recording. The bonus DVD contains 3 music videos and some amusing interview footage about the history of the band.
Most importantly, this album is just plain FUN to listen to, as are all of their albums, which, along with their being the hardest working band in rock and roll, is why you can expect them to follow up their first 20 years with another 20 or more, because after hearing "Best in Show," you'll realize that Jackyl has only just gotten started.
