Great for Commentaries

All you have to do is plug it in and record in the audio program of your choosing.

I came across the Yeti after scouring the internet for reviews. This microphone was within my budget plus provided excellent sound quality. It is easy to setup and I enjoy the various functions the microphone has (for example bidirectional or monodirectional mic recording). Be sure to buy a pop filter and you're all set to record whatever you want!

The quality was so awful, I returned it the next day. I then went straight to best buy.com and ordered this beast! The sound quality blows my mind. It's practically HD audio compared to the audio from the first mic I bought. Don't go cheap. Just dish out the $150 and get the quality. You won't regret it!

This was the best mic that I could find locally, and I was in a rush to meet a work deadline. All in all I am happy with the quality of the mic. I have not had a problem with "pops", even without a pop guard.
There is a setting on the mic that supposedly isolates the mic to pick up sound only from the front of the mic. I wish this worked better. Even with the Gain set very low, it picks up background noise, like the sound of the air coming through the air duct in the wall, and the CPU's fan, even though both of those sound sources are behind the mic.
It worked flawlessly with my Mac, and setup was very easy. The instructions that came with it are thorough and useful, and the associate at the Best Buy store who helped me was terrific.

I was a bit sceptical until my first use and found it to be of superior quality and would recommend it for anyone who wants a good desk type mic. It can also be mounted on a stand. (Not inccluded)
