    Bones: Pilot
The discovery of a badly decomposed corpse in an Arlington National Cemetery pond proves the catalyst that launches this Fox series detailing the adventures of a brilliant forensic anthropologist and her talented but egotistical partner. A body needs identifying, and FBI Special Agent Seely Booth (David Boreanaz) knows that there's no one more qualified for the job than renowned forensic anthropologist and best-selling author Dr. Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel). Affectionately dubbed "Bones" by Agent Booth, Dr. Brennan at first refuses to participate in the investigation unless she is promised full participation in the case. Agent Booth reluctantly agrees to Dr. Brennan's terms, and it isn't long before Dr. Brennan' preliminary investigation yields some interesting results. Later, at the Jeffersonian, Dr. Brennan's boss Dr. Goodman responds to his employee's complaints about working with the FBI by informing her that she works for a federally funded agency and Dr. Brennan's staff at the Medico-Legal Lab set about examining the remains in closer detail. When a revolutionary new program leads the team to believe that the body is that if a missing intern who had been rumored to be sleeping with a senator, Dr. Brennan wants to confront the powerful politician. Upon discovering that what they though were frog bones in the corpse's stomach were actually fetal bones, an already complicated case takes a decidedly unsettling turn. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

One Of The Best Shows I've Seen
    4
Posted by: from Washington, DC on 05/26/2009I got into the story late, so I've unfortunately seen the characters already developed further, but I love the back-and-forth between Booth and Bones (or Brennan). It's easily one of the most watchable shows I've seen in the past few year.

Posted by: from Tacoma, WA on 12/02/2008This TV show is great. The relationship between Special Agent Booth and Brennan is great. I personally like the Squint Squad. I enjoy the sarcasm and playfulness between all of the characters. I highly recommend this series to anyone who likes puzzles.

    Great new show

Posted by: from Springfield, MO on 02/15/2008In a time when a lot of good shows were being cancelled or ending their long runs, along came Bones. I only started watching it because of David Boreanaz, but quickly fell in love with the CSI-ness of the show. I have gotten so many other people hooked on the show by lending out my DVD sets. If you like the crime solving show genre with a bit of character story thrown in, this show is for you. I only give Season 1 4 stars because I think they were overly redundant with things like stating that Booth was a sniper - and that was not done subtly. The DVD features on this set are nice - but be careful with the disks, they are 2-sided.
