If the user has a firm flat surface to set his/her speakers on, this component may not be necessary. The speakers it is designed for come with rubber mounting pads. However, some sound quality is gained if the mounting surface is unusually high or low in respect to the listener's position.3 out of 3 found this review helpful.

Flawless product... fit my 10 year old Acoustimass speakers perfectly. Incredible design, sturdy, and gorgeous looking. Yet another reason why I don't buy audio products from anyone else. You will NOT be disappointed in these!0 out of 1 found this review helpful.
