This purchase has turned out great. I had been shopping for a sound system for my Plasma TV which sits in an alcove over gas fireplace for a month. My living room is medium size and I did not want a lot of wires, I needed the soundbar to be wireless. After researching on line and talking to sales associates , I was still not sure which to buy, but I took a chance on the Boston Acoustics TVee 26 because of the price and the overall way it looked. It was out of the box and working in ten minutes, Ease of use is great and I am very satisfied with the sound. Its a great buy.2 out of 2 found this review helpful.

I find this bar good and have found work around for my main objection which is inability to turn off sound bar and must mute or change inputs when using my wireless headphones. The subwoofer works well and I find the balance of setting the control at about 11 o'clock about right for me. The cinema mode appears to deliver surround but some 5-1 broadcast appear to have too much background effects so I switch to
music. I wish the bar had a method of displaying volume levels.
The pause button seems to only pause for about 6 seconds so I am unsure of its function.
I have tried calling BA customer support and after being on hold in a answering Q for an hour I gave up and hung up as the Q did not tell me what position I was in and I got the same recording. This was during normal east coast working hours. I suspect that their customer rep quit today and Management hasn't found a replacement. Due to poor support, I can not recommend this product1 out of 1 found this review helpful.

I love the sound... BA has always been very reputable. There seems to be a problem where it switches the input on its own... waiting for it to happen again before I call BA for a solution. Other than that, mounting hardware would have been nice, but its pretty cheap to buy separately. Definitely worth the money. I highly recommend this model for anyone that loves true sound.3 out of 3 found this review helpful.

The unit functions OK, except for the control function. Even the controller that came with the unit will not always operate the volume control. I like it's size and appearance and sound is pretty good for the price. I am coming from a Bose system and don't think that the bass is as good as it was on the Bose.1 out of 1 found this review helpful.

Sound is very good for the money. Our complaint is that bar lacks a standard input for an iPod. We need to purchase an adapter to use the bar sound inputs. Also, the controls on the bar and the remote do not work very well. The bar controls (source input, volume, etc) seem to be touch sensitive controls (they do not push in OR up/down) and are backlit, but go off after a few seconds and when you touch them they do not easily respond.
