I tend to agree with those reviews, but after adding just a bit of equalization, they come alive, and I love them a lot. I would definitely recommend them, as they are very worth the money.
Great bass without overpowering the mids. The treble (after adding some eq) is really nice. very full sound. Not the greatest sound stage, but what would you expect from over the ear phones.

Best Headphones For $300

The sound quality is great, very comfortable, and you just fell like you have something great. Ear pads are soft Sheep leather and a comfortable fit. Just amazing headphones overall.

Good headphones for the most part...

Posted by: Hook1123 from Ohio on 03/08/2013The Bower and Wilkins P5 headphones have a great build (For the headphone itself), BUT the cord is too short and shorts out WAY to easily. The headphones can become pretty uncomfortable after only about 15 mins of use. The thing that keeps me using these headphones is the sound quality and the sound isolation.
I do enjoy these headphones but I know a lot of other people have mentioned the things I've stated above.
Please Bower and Wilkins make a more durable cord next time. LUCKILY the headphone cords are detachable and more durable cords can be installed.

So when looking for a set of cans for on the go . I knew B and W was the way to go! By far the best for the value and how well they are made! My husband has the home system up load for a football game and I have my headphone on and these really block the sound!! Bose has nothing on these!!
