Difficult getting used to all the different light meanings and sequence to get music to play (hint, go to "next song" after you dock iPod to get music to play-just pressing "play" doesn't work.). But once the music starts playing-wow! Everyone who walks in my office notices the quality sound coming from the odd speakers. Worth the start up aggravation!

The portable music delivery system

He put his I Pad on the unit and when he turned the system on, I could not believe the incredible sound, and how it filled his 20,000 sq. ft.penthouse! I took my wife to Best Buy in Sarasota, and the great service provider explained in detail the features and benefits while using my wife's I Phone downloaded music.The demo attracted other shoppers/ browsers. After the demo, we immediately purchased a unit for our Siesta Key Condo, and soon after bought a 2nd Bowers and Wilkins system from Best Buy for our Ohio Home. Great AirPlay Speaker

Having iPhones, iPads, Macs, and Apple TVs in our house made AirPlay an easy choice. I knew exactly that I wanted AirPlay and not bluetooth or a docking station. The sound quality is amazing. I love how we can even stream to both speakers at the same time. We are planning on purchasing more to create an entirely wireless network that our Apple devices can utilize throughout the house. Very pleased with my purchase.
The only problem I had was using my Mac to set the speaker up, which I found the iPhone app to be much easier to use for the setup instead.

I couldn't believe that you could get such loud rich sound out of what looked like a football. I was instantly in love and didn't care how much it cost me.

Best Sounddock at Best Buy

Posted by: Want300 from StL, MO on 02/05/2013There seems to be a lot of complaints about the set up, but the directions are very straightforward in my opinion. The hardest part of the set up would be entering one's WiFi password on the setup page (from my experience in setting up computers for people, they never seemed to know their own WiFi password).
The AirPlay works great, I have not experienced any issues with it skipping or glitching. Every now and then the Zeppelin needs to be power cycled for it to reconnect to the network (Like any other WiFi capable device). Once it is back on, the light blinks while it connects to the network, and when it turns solid purple the AirPlay button shows up on my phone. It is no different then connectivity issues you find with a laptop or any other device.
That aside, the sound dock is AMAZING. Each person has their own taste/expectations for sound quality. B&W provides exceptional quality sound in my opinion. I love how rich and full it is. The Bose sound docks sound "tinty" by comparison. I have the Bose Soundlink, which I will say is a great product for carrying around the house, picnics, BBQ's, travel, etc.
I spent over $5000 building my home theater system while I worked at Circuit City and Best Buy. Thus, I am extremely picky when it comes to audio quality. This sound dock is the best and most reasonable on the market in my opinion without spending ridiculous amounts of money (already did that on the HT system).

Works great, excellent sound quality

Luckily I was pleasantly surprised. Setup was straightforward and the system works great controlled by my iPhone 4S via my Linksys E4200 ‘n’ wireless router. The Zeppelin is expensive but both the build and sound quality are superb; best in its class.

Best Ipod Dock In the World

Posted by: Soundoholic from Gainesville, VA on 12/25/2012Perfect sound dock for my bedroom. Airplay was extremely easy to set up if you are careful about it (I chose the ethernet way). The airplay does skip sometimes but that is not the zeppelin's fault, it is the router's and apple's fault. Get's extremely loud without distortion. Bass is extremely powerful. Looks classy and beautiful. Definitely worth the money but I got it on sale for $430 so it is worth even more! I just wish my iPhone 5 could connect to it without the adapter because it takes away from its beauty.
