Boy Meets World: Ain't College Great?
Having overloaded himself with tough courses for his freshman year at Pennbrook, Cory (Ben Savage) soon buckles under the pressure and runs off to Wyoming, there to seek advice and solace from his retired high school teacher Mr. Feeny (William Daniels). The visit has a profound effect on Feeny, who decides that retirement isn't all it's cracked up to be. Meanwhile, Eric (Will Friedle) tries to develop a sensitive side in order to woo Rachel (Maitland Ward) away from Jack (Matthew Lawrence)--resulting in a surprising response from Rachel. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Boy Meets World: Hogs and Kisses
The director of a promotional film for Pennbrook asks Shawn (Rider Strong) and Topanga (Danielle Fishel) to share a kiss for the camera. Sensing that there's more going on than just acting, a jealous Cory (Ben Savage) wants to know for sure, so he encourages Shawn and Topanga to go on a date to see what's what. Amused by Cory's paranoia, the couple decide to play a practical joke on him--but will it backfire like all the other practical jokes on this series? Meanwhile, Eric (Will Friedle) and Jack (Matthew Lawrence) go to ridiculous lengths to convince Rachel (Maitland Ward) than they aren't a couple of uncouth jerks...and as usual, it's up to Rachel to break the tension with a bit of unexpected behavior. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Boy Meets World: Better Than Average Cory
College freshman Cory (Ben Savage) feels intellectually inferior to Alexandra (Alexandra Nechita), an art prodigy who is the same age as his younger sister Morgan (Lindsay Ridgeway). Figuring that brilliance is hereditary, Ben holds his "merely average" dad Alan (William Russ) responsible for his lack of genius. As for Alexandra, she merely wants to be regarded as a normal kid by people her own age--and happily, Morgan is willing to oblige. And elsewhere, Jack (Matthew Lawrence) thinks he has died and gone to heaven when, after saving Rachel (Maitland Ward) from choking to death, she offers to give him anything--ANYTHING--in return! ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Boy Meets World: Poetic License: An Ode to Holden Caulfield
Hoping to encourage Shawn (Rider Strong) to continue writing poetry, Cory (Ben Savage) suggests that his friend read some of his work at a campus coffeehouse. When Shawn backs off, Cory reads the poems himself. At this point Shawn blows his top, outraged that Cory would make public Shawn's unresolved feelings about his girlfriend Angela (Trina McGee-Davis)--who is none too thrilled about the situation either! Meanwhile, Eric (Will Friedle) comes up with a foolproof method to relieve the stress of his college exams...and he's just the fool to prove it. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Boy Meets World: You're Married You're Dead
Hoping to prove that he's the same old Cory (Ben Savage) even though he's engaged to Topanga (Danielle Fishel), our hero accompanies his male buddies to a restaurant which boasts scantily-clad waitresses. In the course of the evening, Cory loses his engagement ring, and subsequently tries to prevent Topanga from finding out. Elsewhere, Rachel (Maitland Ward) is assigned to write a paper about male bonding--and guess which two guys she uses for "research". ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Boy Meets World: Everybody Loves Stuart
In this landmark episode, Ben Savage (Cory) costars with his real-life brother Fred Savage, under the direction of Boy Meets World regular William Russ. Fred is cast as Stuart, a hip new college teacher who is popular with the Pennbrook students because he treats them as equals. But Stuart reveals his true nature when, left alone with Topanga (Danielle Fishel), he hits on her. Hearing of this, the outraged Cory shoves Stuart through a screen-door window--and when the dust settles, our hero is facing expulsion! ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Boy Meets World: Santa's Little Helpers
Unbeknownst to one another, Cory (Ben Savage) invites Shawn (Rider Strong) for Thanksgiving dinner with his family, while Topanga (Danielle Fishel) invites Shawn's ex-girlfriend Angela (Trina McGee-Davis) Realizing that the situation is an uncomfortable one, Topanga decides not to meddle, but Cory can't help trying to bring Shawn and Angela back together. The results are both predictable and surprising, if such a thing is possible. Elsewhere, Eric (Will Friedle) allows his generosity to get the better of him while working as a department store Santa. JB Gaynor makes his first appearance as orphan kid Tommy. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Boy Meets World: And in Case I Don't See Ya
Apparently inspired by the movie The Truman Show, Eric (Will Friedle) creates a closed-circuit TV series "starring" his roommates Jack (Matthew Lawrence) and Rachel (Maitland Ward). This he does in hopes of gaining popularity with his fellow students--but as it turns out, it is Rachel, who was initially against the project, who becomes the sweetheart of Pennbrook College. Meanwhile, Cory (Ben Savage) and Shawn (Rider Strong) learn the hard way that Mr. Feeny (William Daniels) isn't going to be any easier on them in college than he'd been in high school. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

    Boy Meets World: Friendly Persuasion
Trying to comfort Angela (Trina McGee-Davis) after her breakup with Shawn (Rider Strong), Cory (Ben Savage) is shocked when Angela angrily insists that she was never his friend and wants to be left alone. This being Boy Meets World, we can safely translate Angela's tirade as "You're my friend--please help me!" And having emerged from retirement, Mr. Feeny (William Daniels) arrives at Pennbrook College...as a student. Bonnie Bartlett, the wife of costar William Daniels) joins the regular cast as Dean Bolander, who by episode's end determines that Mr. Feeny would be better suited to a different position at the college. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

    Boy Meets World: His Answer
As Season Six of Boy Meets World gets under way with the first episode of a two-part story, Cory still does not know how to respond to Topanga's sudden marriage proposal. The rest of Cory's friends and family members offer varying degrees of advice and comfort: Shawn's girlfriend Angela (Trina McGee-Davis) , for example, thinks that Cory and Topanga (Danielle Fishel) are too young to marry, while Cory's parents Alan (William Russ) and Amy (Betsy Randle) are in no position to say anything since they themselves had eloped. Our hero's indecision extends all the way to the wedding ceremony--at which point, guess who announces that it isn't the right time yet? Maitland Ward joins the regular cast in the role of Rachel McGuire, the new and very attractive roommate of college boys Eric (Will Friedle) and Jack (Matthew Lawrence). ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

    Boy Meets World: Her Answer
In the conclusion of Boy Meets World's two-part Season Six opener, Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga (Danielle Fishel) have eloped, but Topanga can't bring herself to say "I do" before the the Justice of the Peace--and never mind that it was she who proposed to Cory in the first place. Having decided that they aren't ready for marriage, the couple returns home, only to find that their families have arranged an elaborate newlywed party for them. So it shouldn't be a total loss, the festivities are changed to a retirement party for Mr. Feeny (William Daniels)--at least until an angry Eric (Will Friedle) has his say in the matter. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

    Boy Meets World: Resurrection
As Amy's premature baby Joshua fights for his life in Intensive Care, the Matthews family anxiously awaits the outcome of the situation. Cory (Ben Savage), however, seems more concerned about himself and his relationship with Topanga (Danielle Fishel) than the plight of his mother and newborn brother. It takes the sudden reappearance of Shawn (Rider Strong), fresh from his soul-searching road trip, to force Cory to get his priorities straight! ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Boy Meets World: Can I Help to Cheer You?
Topanga (Danielle Fishel) drags a reluctant Cory (Ben Savage) to the chapel to help her finalize their marriage plans. While observing the preparations for another wedding, Cory is shocked when the bride's disgruntled father (Richard Portnow) offers him a million dollars to marry his daughter--immediately! Meanwhile, the virtual father-son relationship between Eric (Will Friedle) and Tommy (JB Gaynor), the underprivileged youngster whom Eric met at Christmastime, takes a unexpectedly poignant turn as the boy prepares to move in with his foster family. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

    Boy Meets World: Bee True
Cory (Ben Savage) and Shawn (Rider Strong) revert to their old "bad boy" mode to help Mr. Feeny (William Daniels) woo and win Dean Bolander (Bonnie Bartlett) before she is reclaimed by her ex-husband Curtis (Francis X. McCarthy), an entymologist. As a result, Curtis' lab is trashed and a rare killer bee is released into the world--a potential tragedy that takes an entirely different turn when the insect makes a beeline (ouch!) for Ms. Bolander! Elsewhere, Rachel decides that it is high time she and Jack go on a real date, something Jack has been avoiding for a very surprising reason. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Boy Meets World: The Psychotic Episode
Eric (Will Friedle) has a bizarre new roommate named Adam (Charlie Newmark), who apparently has patterned his life after Psycho's Norman Bates--right down to the stuffed bird and dead-but-alive mother. In a strikingly similar situation, Cory (Ben Savage) begins having nightmares in which he murders Shawn (Rider Strong) in a variety of unique ways. Does Mr. Feeny (William Daniels) have the answer to Cory's plight? This episode marks both the return and final appearance of Cory's erstwhile sweetheart Lauren (Linda Cardellini). ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Boy Meets World: The Truth About Honesty
There's more trouble in store for Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga (Danielle Fishel) when the couple makes a pact to be totally honest with one another. This policy (note that we didn't say "the best policy") is tested to the breaking point when Cory and Topanga attend the first-ever dinner party held by Jack (Matthew Lawrence) and Rachel (Maitland Ward). Before long, all of the guests are playing the "honesty game"--and not surprisingly, the truth REALLY hurts. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Boy Meets World: My Baby Valentine
Feeling left out of things on Valentine's Day, Cory (Ben Savage) takes charge of the baby shower that Topanga (Danielle Fishel) has arranged for his mom Amy (Betsy Randle). Unfortunately, Cory's notions of a "shower" are a bit chauvinistic; he sets up what amounts to a bachelor party for girls, replete with a male stripper! Just when the outraged guests are about to exact retribution on Cory, Amy prematurely goes into labor. Elsewhere, Shawn (Rider Strong) continues his soul-searching road trip; and acknowledging that Jack (Matthew Lawrence) and Rachel (Maitland Ward) are in love, Eric (Will Friedle) simply wants to fade away. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Boy Meets World: State of the Unions
Real-life husband and wife Michael McKean and Annette O'Toole appear as Topanga's parents Jedediah and Rhianna (roles played in subsequent episodes by Mark Harelik and Marcia Cross). Arriving in town for the wedding of Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga (Danielle Fishel), Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence put a damper on things by announcing their impending divorce! Elsewhere, Mr. Feeny (William Daniels) finally proposes to Dean Bolander (Bonnie Bartlett, in her last series appearance); and Eric (Will Friedle) asks Shawn (Rider Strong) to help him get over losing Rachel (Maitland Ward) to Jack (Matthew Lawrence). A cliffhanger ending caps this final episode of Boy Meets World's sixth season. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Boy Meets World: We'll Have a Good Time Then
In an unusually somber episode, Shawn (Rider Strong) is upset when his ne'er-do-well father Chet (Blake Clark) comes back into his life, feeling as he does that Chet was never around for him or his half-brother Jack (Matthew Lawrence) when they really needed him. The situation takes an unexpected turn when, after eating some cake prepared by Rachel (Maitland Ward), Chet suffers a heart attack. In the hospital, father and son try to resolve their lifelong conflicts, and a reconciliation seems at hand--then tragedy strikes. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Boy Meets World: Cutting the Cord
Shawn (Rider Strong) and Angela (Trina McGee-Davis) are so fed up by the efforts of Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga (Danielle Fishel) to bring them back together that they issue their own version of a restraining order. Even so, the two ex-sweethearts cannot help running into one another no matter how hard they try. Meanwhile, with Amy (Betsy Randle) expecting a baby, Alan (William Russ) tries to make himself feel young enough for parenthood by making an unsual purchase, while Eric (Will Friedle) appoints himself the family's birthing coach (a job that requires more talk than action, apparently!) ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

    Boy Meets World: Road Trip
In an effort to sort out his feelings about his past, present and future, Shawn (Rider Strong) hitches up the trailer and embarks upon a lengthy road trip, with Cory (Ben Savage) along for the ride. En route, the boys meet four sisters (played by the singing group Nobody's Angels), unhappily laboring away at their father's roadside restaurant. In a typical cross-purpose situation, Shawn decides he never wants to leave the girls--while the girls can't wait to escape their surroundings! Back at home, Jack (Matthew Lawrence) and Rachel (Maitland Ward) are confused by their feelings in the aftermath of their kiss; and though dead and buried, Jack's father Chet (Blake Clark) has not quite left the building. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

    Boy Meets World: Getting Hitched
Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga (Danielle Fishel) play a "compatability" game--and surprise, surprise, they find that they aren't all that compatable. The only solution to this problem is for the couple to move in together and get more accustomed to one another--which turns out to be a major mistake, thanks to a million-and-one idiosyncracies and bad habits. Meanwhile, Jack (Matthew Lawrence) tries to hide his grief over the death of his dad Chet, so as not to increase the emotional burden on his half-brother Shawn (Rider Strong). The climactic revelation of a startling secret brings Jack and Chet closer together than ever before--and, unexpectedly, brings Jack a LOT closer to Rachel (Maitland Ward). ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi
