Boy Meets World: Train of Fools
Eric (Will Friedle), Cory (Ben Savage), Shawn (Rider Strong) and Topanga (Danielle Fishel) plan to spend New Year's Eve at a party. That all of them would end up stranded in a stalled subway car is the furthest thought from their minds--so guess what happens? Making matters worse (if such a thing is possible), Eric is steamed at Cory for inadvertently ruining his hot date with supermodel Rebecca-Alexa (Angela Visser). Watch for future Buffy the Vampire Slayer costar Charisma Carpenter as a caterer. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Boy Meets World: My Best Friend's Girl
It's the first day of school again as Boy Meets World launches its third season. Having spent the entire summer trying to work up the nerve to ask out his classmate Topanga (Danielle Fishel), Cory (Ben Savage)--who somehow has aged two years since last we saw him!--feels betrayed when he is beaten to it by his best friend Shawn (Rider Strong), leading to a showdown in the apartment Shawn shares with teacher Jonathan Turner (Anthony Tyler Quinn). And Eric deals with the devil--specifically, tough guys Frankie (Ethan Suplee) and Joey (Blake Sennett)--to drum up business for the school film society's screening of Paint Your Wagon. New to the cast are Lindsay Ridgeway, taking over from Lily Nicksay in the role of Cory's sister Morgan, and Alex Desert as Eli Williams--and keep an eye out for a very young Brittany Murphy as Topana's best friend Trini. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

    Boy Meets World: Hometown Hero
Cory (Ben Savage) is hailed as a hero for triggering a fire alarm that saved both Adams High and the school janitor. Noticing that Cory seems a bit too eager to accept all the adulation, Mr. Feeny (William Daniels) suspects that there's something very wrong. And as usual, Feeny is right: Cory and Shawn had accidentally set off the alarm (and the fire!) during a nocturnal foray into the school to turn in their overdue chemistry papers. The trick is to get the "hero" to tell the truth before the Big Lie overwhelms him. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Boy Meets World: This Little Piggy
Big-hearted Shawn (Rider Strong) adopts "Little Cory", an abandoned baby pig. Though Mr. Turner (Anthony Tyler Quinn) allows Shawn to keep the pig in the apartment, Topanga (Danielle Fishel) insists that the animal would be better off on a farm. As the debate heats up between Shawn and Topanga, Cory (Ben Savage) finds himself stuck in the middle--or should that be "pig in the middle"? Meanwhile, Eric (Will Friedle) tries to bribe his way into a prestigious college by taking Mr. Feeny (William Daniels) to an opera...and guess who ends up getting the most out of the experience! ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Boy Meets World: The Last Temptation of Cory
While Topanga (Danielle Fishel) is sick at home, Cory (Ben Savage) discovers to his amazement that he can't kept the girls away from him--especially one of the school's most popular girls, Missy Lawrence (Elizabeth Harnois). Inevitably, Cory and Missy share a kiss, a fact that he hopes to conceal from Topanga...fat chance. Elsewhere, Eric (Will Friedle) is hoodwinked into buying an autographed sports memento of highly dubious value. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Boy Meets World: Truth and Consequences
As part of an assignment for Media Arts teacher Mr. Williams (Alex Desert), Cory (Ben Savage) and Shawn (Rider Strong) covertly begin work on a video about high-school janitor Bud (Bob Larkin). In the course of their investigative journalism, the boys catch Bud (Bob Larkin) tampering with the time-clock so he can sneak out of work early to go to the races. As a result, Bud is fired--two months before he was to retire on a full pension! Fans will be very surprised to find out who's the "hero" of this story. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Boy Meets World: What I Meant to Say
Sensing that Topanga (Danielle Fishel) is avoiding him for some reason or other, Cory (Ben Savage) decides it's high time that he declare his love for her. Alas, the moment he speaks those Three Little Words, the outraged Topanga breaks up with him--and Cory has absolutely no idea what he's done wrong. Elsewhere in this pivotal episode, Eli Williams (Alex Desert) becomes Medias Art teacher at John Adams High. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Boy Meets World: The Double Lie
When Mr. Turner (Anthony Tyler Quinn) leaves town for the weekend, Shawn (Rider Strong) hopes to use the empty apartment for a night of unbridled passion with Veronica Watson (Erin J. Dean). Trouble is, Mr. Turner has arranged for Shawn to spend the weekend with Cory's family. Never one to let down a friend, Cory (Ben Savage) assures Shawn that his parents are going to be staying out very late one evening, allowing him ample time with Veronica--but as usual, the best-laid plans "gang aft a'gley." Elswhere, Eric (Will Friedle) tries to get an easy "A" by buying a term paper, only to discover that Mr. Feeny (William Daniels) is way ahead of him. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

    Boy Meets World: Rave On
Unaware that his parents Amy (Betsy Randle) and Alan (William Russ) are planning a 20th anniversary party, Eric (Will Friedle) decides to throw a "rave"on the same day at the same time. When Cory (Ben Savage) finds out, he suggests that Eric combine the two parties without allowing his parents to catch on--a scheme that works for about, oh, three minutes. The final sequence could be called "The Monkees Meet the Partridge Family"--the musical group that Cory organizes to play for his parents is comprised of Micky Dolenz, Davy Jones and Peter Tork, and their manager is ol' "Reuben Kincaid" himself, Dave Madden! ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Boy Meets World: He Said, She Said
Consulting the school's new guidance counselor Devon (Amy Leland), Shawn (Rider Strong) explains that he's not trying harder because he's not going to college, so what's the use? In an effort to show she understands what he's going through, Devon replies that she once felt the same way and decided to take time to consider her future, which she did during a trip to Europe. Unfortunately, Shawn hears only the "trip to Europe" part and begins drawing up plans to run off to Paris! In other developments, former school bully Harley (Danny McNulty) busts out of reform school for a showdown with the heir to his "throne", Griff Hawkins (Adam Scott); trouble is, no one cares. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Boy Meets World: New Friends and Old
Upset that tough-guy Frankie (Ethan Suplee) is hanging around with a bad crowd, Mr. Feeny (William Daniels) suggests that Cory (Ben Savage) and Shawn (Rider Strong) try to keep Frankie on the straight-and-narrow. Instead, the opposite happens: Thanks to their association with Frankie, Cory and Shawn now find themselves much feared by all the younger kids in school! Of course, there's a moral and a "surprise" revelation lurking within this situation, so stay with the episode until the end. Meanwhile, Mr. Turner (Anthony Tyler Quinn) is upset when his wealthy ex-girlfriend Melanie (Eliza Coyle), who'd spurned him because he'd given up a life of luxury to become a teacher, returns to town. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Boy Meets World: The Grass Is Always Greener
Having dated Topanga (Danielle Fishel) for several months now, Cory (Ben Savage) is anxious to prove that he has not fallen into a rut. To this end, he attends a party at Hamilton High, where nobody knows him. Once he arrives, he finds himself the most popular guy in the room, and no wonder: Everyone there thinks that Cory is actually Shawn (Rider Strong)! Things come to a head when Cory-alias-Shawn takes it upon himself to woo and win the mysterious "French" girl who is also at the party. . .and guess who SHE turns out to be. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

    Boy Meets World: City Slackers
Cory (Ben Savage) and Shawn (Rider Strong) intend to take advantage of the fact that Mr. Feeny (William Daniels) has given the key to his cabin in the Poconos to Alan (William Russ) and Amy (Betsy Randle). Getting their mitts on the precious key, the boys sneak off to the cabin with plans of having a special skiing weekend with a pair a cute girls. Unfortunately, their only company turns out to be Mr. Feeny himself. Meanwhile, Eric (Will Friedle) and Frankie (Ethan Suplee) square off in the longest billiard game in recorded history--15 hours, to be exact! ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Boy Meets World: A Kiss Is More Than a Kiss
Now that Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga (Danielle Fishel) have broken up, Shawn (Rider Strong) advises Cory to plunge back into the dating pool. This he does, but his feelings for Topanga are still so strong that he can't bring himself to kiss the beauteous Melissa (Anndi McAfee). But lest he think that Topanga feels the same way, Cory is in for a shock when he spies his former sweetie "locking lips" with another guy. Elsewhere, Eric (Will Friedle) is gulled into believing that has been accepted at a college--which unfortunately doesn't exist. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Boy Meets World: The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter
Dana Pruitt (Larisa Oleynik) is willing to go on one date with Shawn (Rider Strong), but not a second date, thanks to his bad reputation. Instead, Cory (Ben Savage) goes out with Dana--and Shawn demands a full report on the evening's events. Determined to win over Dana, Shawn goes out of his way to do the things he thinks she likes best...and the results are surprising (for THIS TV series, anyway!) Meanwhile, Eric (Will Friedle) applies for an apprentice job at a local TV station, competing with several other students who are frankly better qualified--and much smarter. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

    Boy Meets World: Stormy Weather
Now that he's an intern at a local TV station, Eric (Will Friedle) is devoting so much time and energy to the job that his grades (none too good to begin with) are suffering. In fact, if Eric doesn't start buckling down, there's a strong possibility that he won't graduate. Problem is, Eric doesn't care at this point: he quits school to pursue his lifelong dream of being a meterorologist, blissfully unaware that a job of this nature requires at the very least a high school diploma! Elsewhere, Shawn's (Rider Strong) relationship with Dana (Larisa Oleynik) is adversely affected by the growing attraction between Dana's mom Susan (Rosalind Allen) and Mr. Turner (Anthony Tyler Quinn) ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

    Boy Meets World: Brother-Brother
Season Three of Boy Meets World draws to a close with several of the main characters facing life-altering crises. Now that school is out until September, Cory (Ben Savage) despairs over the fact that he will spend the summer without Topanga (Danielle Fishel), who is going to camp. Eric (Will Friedle), upset over bitter words exchanged between himself and Cory, plans to head for college and never return to Philadelphia. And Shawn (Rider Strong) has hit the road with his rolling-stone father Chet (Blake Clark). Fortunately, the episode ends with the promise of good things to come in Season Four--but with very few hints as to what will actually transpire. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Boy Meets World: I Was a Teenage Spy
Any resemblance that Boy Meets World ever had with the REAL world was smashed to bits in this episode, wherein a microwave accident transports Cory (Ben Savage) back to the year 1957. Because of his foreknowledge of Russia's Sputnik space satellite, Cory is suspected of being a Soviet spy by everyone except a pair of oddly familiar high schoolers named Shawnzie (Rider Strong) and T.L. (Danielle Fishel). The episode's "Happy Days" ambience is amplified by the presence of Tom Bosley, Anson Williams and Pat Morita in the guest cast! ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

    Boy Meets World: Life Lessons
A reluctant Cory (Ben Savage) is chosen as class representative to persuade Mr. Feeny (William Daniels) to soften his tough exam schedule. When Feeny refuses, a handful of students retaliate by vandalizing his home. As a result, Feeny sadly decides it is time to retire--but a second attack on his home changes his mind, and also increases his respect of the benighted Cory. Meanwhile, Amy (Betsy Randle) tries to play matchmaker between Mr. Turner (Anthony Tyler Quinn) and a 27-year-old woman named Brenda (Lisa Akey)...who prefers the much-younger Shawn (Rider Strong) instead! ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Boy Meets World: The Pink Flamingo Kid
While filming a video which he hopes to enter in a TV news contest, Cory (Ben Savage) catches a gang of crooks stealing computers. But Shawn (Rider Strong) takes one look at the video and immediately destroys it. The reason? Some of those computer thieves are members of his own family! Elsewhere, Eric (Will Friedle) has dreams of making millions from the junk in the family garage. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Boy Meets World: The Happiest Show on Earth
The recent acquistion of ABC by Disney is shamelessly plugged in this episode. Determined to prove his devotion to Topanga (Danielle Fishel), Cory (Ben Savage) leaves Philadelphia and follows her all the way to Disneyworld in Florida. Unfortunately, Topanga jumps to the conclusion that Cory is actually interested in Kristen (Hilary Tuck), a girl who happens to be heading in the same direction. And back in Philly, Eric (Will Friedle) is stuck with the herculean task of covering for Cory in his absence. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Boy Meets World: I Never Sang for My Legal Guardian
Mr. Turner (Anthony Tyler Quinn), who hencefore shall be referred to as Jonathan, decides that it is time to become legal guardian of homeless teenager Shawn (Rider Strong). But Shawn himself has other ideas; he wants to hit the road and return to his biological father Chet (Blake Clark). . .and what's more, he's gotten it into his head that Jonathan is not sincere in his wish to take care of him. Meanwhile, Mr. Feeny (William Daniels) assigns Eric (Will Friedle) to tutor a high school athlete named Jeff (Bobby Jacoby)--a curious choice, in that Eric's grades aren't much better than Jeff's. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi
