Posted by: KCount from Buffalo, NY on 01/01/2013This pillow we got for our 1 year old at bed time. It is a soft pillow that uses 3 AA Batteries. The lights automatically change colors and after 15 mins of no movement, the pillow shuts off by itself. As long as the pillow has moved the lights will continue staying on and changing colors.
There is also an on and off switch. Our son loves to take his new pillow to bed with him. It is bright enough to use as a night light, but it's not too bright. We are very happy that we got this for him as a Christmas present.
The only bad thing that I would have to say is that this pillow is hand clean only or spot clean only. You can't submerse it in water. The battery/motion sensor pack tucks nicely into the middle of the pillow and it zips shut. The battery pack cannot be felt through the pillow at all.
