At $10, okay product, but broke

Posted by: from Miami on 07/03/2012I had this for about a month. The device would not use an AC adapter for some reason, but alas, I had six AAA batteries. It worked okay for a few prints, but the edges required like two inches on each end to cut. Kind of a big waste. Wasn't crazy about it. But the big deal was returning the item to Best Buy. They require a drivers license now for a return, even if you have the receipt? Yeah, not a fan. I likely will not be shopping much at Best Buy anymore.

Excellent for labeling file folders

Posted by: from Santa Rosa, CA on 07/28/2011The amount of tape that's on the starter cartridge is impressive. There is a setting on it so you have minimal tape waste from the end of the label. I like the two line printing if you have a long label to make. Make sure to buy 6 AAA batteries so you can start using it right away. It's easy to use, but the manual isn't really that descriptive.

solid, but bulky label maker

Posted by: from dallas, tx on 01/19/2011clear screen, large buttons, easy enough to navigate , print, add symbols etc. I've only used it a limited amount but battery life seems ok (sold separately). Got a great price over holidays, so I feel that this was a great value. the real question will be how much the replacement labels and ink cost...

Posted by: from Pensacola on 01/18/2011I was introduced to the Brother label maker at work and loved the ease of use and quality labels. I was glad to see it become available at an affordable price, I just wish the replacement cartridges were cheaper. Anyway great product, great price and fast shipping.

Good item, but a little confusing
4
Posted by: from Hastings, NE on 01/15/2011The item is good, but a little confusing to use, and the manual does not help. We had a problem with the length of the labels, and cannot do anything to fix it. Other than that it is a great item and does exactly what it should.
