It offers her the opportunity to take some great pictures easily with the auto features but also gives her an opportunity to learn more and test herself with the manual settings.

Made the switch to DSLR

Once I have more money, I'll be excited to get a lens with longer range and see what the camera can really do.

Great camera with alot of options

It has so many options to just get that perfect photo your looking for, especially if you have kids that won't hold still, this camera still captures all of those moments on the move. I am very pleased with this purchase and glad I spent the money!

This is my first DSLR and the ease of use is very satisfactory. Have not used the video capabilities so I am unable to speak to the performance in that area.

Great Entry to DSLR Photography

The T3 has a lot of features and it will take some time to master the camera, but rest assured that will be part of the fun with. I know in the near future I will have to purchase additional lenses as she expands her knowledge base. I believe this camera is a great entry into DLSR photography and the price was to my liking.
