I've used Canon portable printers for about 15 years and I have enjoyed them all. They are are a little pricey but they are worth every dime in the long run. I have 6 traveling employees who use the Canon - PIXMA iP100 Mobile Printer and weve had get luck with them and they last forever if you keep them clean and dont abuse them.

This is the third one that I have owned. When I replaced my last one, I looked at another brand, but it was just enough larger that it wouldn't fit with my computer in my computer backpack. It prints much faster than my larger printers & has high quality resolution for printing photos. I use it exclusively, except for high volume printing.- I use it for: : Document printing

I work in the field and I'm a student. I've been able to print docs in my car while on the go. I'm saving money by not having to find and pay to print docs at office supply centers. It's small enough to fit in my back pack with my laptop. There is no compromise on print quality despite the size. I will be purchasing a second unit because the wife keeps grabbing mine to use for her print projects.- I use it for: : Document printing

iP100 delivers on its promise on being compact and handy. Trust me, I travel a lot internationally (as in US to Asia) and this thing won't even spill (though I have not tried checking it in). I like how Cannon made the cartridge available everywhere, that is a definite plus since inks are only distributed locally.
Best buy don't carry the battery and bluetooth accessories (online or store) which is a bummer. You have to order it directly from Cannon. During set-up, I found that there is no cable. I had to dig up some of my USB cables and hook it up. It would have been good if this had originally the bluetooth option. Price is a little steep but because of its portability, I would downplay this item.- I use it for: : Document printing

I had one of these printers before, but I never used it, so I sold it at a yard sale. I had to work mobile for a while and I had no where to put a bulky printer just to print receipts & customer paperwork, so I remembered this printer & I bought a new one... I LOVE this printer! It folds up for moving around and I seen that they offer an attachment for it to be able to print bluetooth! Excellent, I may end up trying that later. Although I haven't printed anything in full color like photos, the printing is clear (even tiny lettering prints crystal clear). It's pretty fast at printing, but slightly loud... a small sacrifice for such a wonderful printer! I'm not sure yet on the ink consumption or anything long term, but I have not had any problems in this first month of use.- I use it for: : Document printing

No more scrambling to print documents or photos while traveling. Prints quickly and the quality is good. Use printer cable or bluetooth technology. The ink is priced reasonably and this printer fits in the average backpack or computer case.- I use it for: : Document printing
