Posted by: CoachD43 from Texas on 05/20/2013We are owners of a Cannon EOS Rebel SLR. We wanted a very small camera that we could stick in a pocket when we did not want to carry the big camera. This fit the bill. It is a Canon and lives up to that name. This camera provides great quality photos at an economical price.

Posted by: from San Antonio on 05/17/2013I have owned four canon powershot cameras in the last 4 years, I know that sounds bad but it is not because the cameras are faulty. The first one I received as a gift. It was in the $100 range and it worked well. I purchased the warranty on it and my wife dropped the camera after about a year. That model was no longer available so we were given store credit in the amount of purchase price and added some more cash to buy a better camera. We did that a cople of times and ended up with an Olympus camera as our fourth camera. We were so underwhelmed with the Olympus that we bought the canon A4000. It is a great basic camera without very many bells and whistles. The different shooting options are limited but I still takes very crisp shots and smooth HD video. I'm sure we will upgrade again soon but we will definitely stick with canon..

Easy to use, inexpensive camera

Posted by: eremps from Paramus, NJ on 05/17/2013It's not the best camera in the world but it sure beats my phone's camera! Easy to use, easy to carry around, inexpensive enough to not feel the need to be so gentle with it. Easy to mount as drive and extract pictures.

Posted by: JeBj from Baldwin,NY on 05/17/2013Decent little camera for taking fun shots. Size is great, picture quality is pretty good. Only complaint so far is speed. This is not a camera for taking action shots.
