Ease of Use

I decided to take a chance on the wireless remote and it turned out to be a great choice. I use the remote for astrophotography and it has made a huge difference. I have been using the remote for several weeks now and it has done the job well.

Simple addition to camera

The remote is small and simple to use and it works just fine. Nice addition to the camera it allows new shots to be taken that could not be taken before.

Recently, I also learned that I can record videos with this remote. Simple use. Battery is included right out of the box. Love the product!!

I got it bc I wanted the ability to start recording something while not behind the camera, and this lets me do that (although the switch must be on the 2 sec delay). Only downside is bc it's uses IR, it must be pointed at the camera for it to work. So if I'm taking a video that I'm in, there's some time at the beginning where's it obvious I'm starting the recording. Would have preferred a radio or something, but I knew that going into it.

Good product but has some limitations for my needs

Posted by: kelbe1 from on 06/14/2012Good product, but it would be better if it worked behind the camera. Because you need to point it at the sensor, it's more effective for self portraits. When shooting landscapes or bracketed shots it takes a while to activate the remote.
