I carry it with me on travels and it almost handle every situation. It's also easy to upload images to my computer. The interface is friendly and easy to use.

You will constantly replace the batteries. Either buy some rechargeables or get some stock in duracel. To get some good quality photos i found i have to wait as long as i would when taking a picture with my smart phone. The Powershot is very slow on focus and picture quality. Very easy to understand and use but I found the quality of photos with the constant replacement of batteries a dissappointing factor in this purchase. I hope you better luck.

Posted by: Sewanee from Asheville, NC on 05/03/2013I can still fit it in my jeans pocket, but it has so much more clarity of photos, and it works a lot like my old Cannon. I have to delete photos one at a time, but it's worth it due to it's other qualities.
I can't upload a photo onto this site here because of the following:
"We were unable to accept the image you uploaded because it was too large. We can only accept images that are 5 MB or smaller."
Maybe that means the megapixels are too high, 16, much more than my old Cannon.
