I am very happy with my Nutri Bullet! I made smoothies occasionally with both a Ninja blender and an Oster blender before, and neither came close enough to the smooth texture that I get with the Nutri Bullet.
The biggest selling point for me for this product was the claim to pulverize seeds. As a child, I refused to eat any food with seeds, including sesame seed buns, which I am embarrassed to admit now as an adult! However, some of my trypophobia has carried over into adulthood - I still didn't like all the seeds at the bottom of my smoothies, ugh... Yet, hearing the health benefits of seeds that have been ground open, both from fruit and from sources like flax and chia, had me very interested in finding a way to keep the seeds and access the nutrition.
I am extremely pleased with the way seeds are indeed pulverized by this blender. So far, I have had success with the following seeds being milled: strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, flax. The only seed that doesn't have great success at being milled (so far) is blackberry. I don't know why that is, and it seems to be inconsistent, because there aren't lots of the seeds remaining - I think some of them are actually being ground up, just not all.
All other ingredients, including spinach are finely blended. I run the bullet for 60 seconds or more to be sure. Definitely use cold ingredients, or chill your smoothies, for the best flavor. We even make them the night before, putting them in the fridge for breakfast.
I agree with the other reviewers who mention not overfilling for leaks, which can be hard to do with the two smaller cups. I have found that pulsing the Bullet slowly unscrews the lid/blade from the cup, so I don't pulse more than once.
I didn't realize how much I would like the two screw-on rings, for a smooth finish when drinking straight from the cups. Also, the main base is more heavy and substantial than I thought it would be, keeping the unit stable on the counter while operating.
My husband has started drinking smoothies now, too, thanks to the great flavors and the nutritional value. The other selling point for me was that unlike juicers, the Nutri Bullet keeps all the fiber in the smoothie, why would I want to take that important part of my diet out?? I really love this device. It works like advertised, but know you cannot use whole apples, pears, peaches, etc without removing the seeds. Not bcs it won't grind up, but the seeds are not healthy for us. Now I use the receipe book for great combinations. I have lost 4lbs, just using it once a day about 4 times a week. It helps me from eating alot of chips, cookies, sweets. When I feel the cravings I mix me a juice.3 out of 3 found this review helpful.

When I brought it home I told my husband we are going to start having healthy juices and smoothies every morning, he said "so how long is thi going to last?" So I promised him If I don't use it everyday I will return it, well its been a few weeks now, and I have used it faithfully every single day, I change it up with various recipes it came with and made some of my own. I have lost 8 pounds:)

I saw this on an infomercial. It looked much better than an ordinary juicer. The infomercial seemed to good too be true but I tried it anyway. Finally! A product that does exactly what the infomercial said it will do! This thing is great! It takes about 5 minutes to put your food in, use it, drink up and clean! I love to eat healthy and make my own soy protein shakes, blended with soy milk, vanilla soy protein powder, oatmeal and flax. Makes a creamy shake that is smooth and tastes great. Does great blending broccoli and brussel sprouts and other greens that other mixers just can't blend well. Make my own nutritious drinks. Great also for fruit and other vegetables. Would definitely buy again. Wish you could buy additional cups but perhaps they will sell that as an added set later. Easy to clean in dishwasher.1 out of 1 found this review helpful.
