City and highway modes
Allow the driver to select an operating mode, reducing the frequency of false detection in densely populated areas.
Auto mute
Mutes the alert tone for added convenience. Dim mode allows you to dim the display for night driving visibility.
Stay set electronic memory
Remembers radar detector settings for future use. The system self test notifies you when the detector has performed a self test and is ready for use.

good detector

Posted by: delphince from cary, nc on 04/12/2013It does a pretty good job with cops and speed traps, but it tends to pick up backup cameras on SUVs a lot. I like the voices and the visual display more than the previous model that only had beeps. If it would just stop picking up backup cameras and malls it would be perfect.

Also, I have drove past several police cars, and until I am within 50 yards, it doesn't go off! Several times, I would turn around, make sure the cobra is working and in view... And still, right behind him it didn't work!!! One police car was on a corner, and nothing unless I am directly in front and within 50 yards!! Very dissatisfied.

Good for the price

I have owned Cobra products in the past and knew they offered good service at a very reasonable price. Very good choice if you travel extensively for business or pleasure.
