Have used it for two months now, works good for City/Town Police
Detection. On the Highway/Expressway was not very reliable.
I have traveled from the north end to the south end of Indiana and it does not pick up ISP or County units at all or till your right on them. Also in Chicago this weekend, it did not pick up CPD and ISP on the Expressway.
I am a PoPo and do use radar and laser enforcement in my daily tasks and know their capacity and range, and would probably opt for a better detector next time and give this one to one of my kids, like the last one I owned for their everyday use.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

I am a cobra customer since......
i have alwaay had a radar detector in my car.. u just have too.. Specially if u r a good driver....
So i decided to upgrade my old one for this one,..
is awesome... way better than any other radar detector i had in the past..

Great display,great radar mount , in fact the best I have ever used. Great reception of radar of all types, All kinds of excellent user settable options. Make every other detector look totally dated which they are compared to this detector.
Cobra detectors are very good to begin with and this one takes that up a notch believe me.
I have the 650 version of this with lifetime aura updates but if you don't need or car about that option this is a very good choice indeed
