Needed a compact DVD player and decent sound system to support a projector for viewing movies on my patio. Didn't want to buy a complete A/V system and this seemed to fit the bill nicely. Ordered online and received promptly. Hooked up the system and tried watching a movie but the audio wasn't right. In 5.1 sound mode I could hear background sounds but no dialog, thru all the speakers. In Stereo mode could hear everything, but only thru front speakers. Called coby tech support on a Saturday and spent 1/2 hour trying different movies and settings to no avail. She said a more knowledgeable tech would call on Monday but he didn't so I boxed it all back up and returned it to my local Best Buy store with no issues. Moved on to a different solution that works great. Bought computer speakers from Best Buy and run it off a laptop.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.
