I've tried several different fm wireless transmitters for my mp3 devices -and now my iphone- through the years, different styles, different prices. Nothing I have ever tried comes close to the quality and value of this device. From choosing from the full spectrum of fm frequencies to the piggy-backed cigarette lighter outlet and on top of it all, it works, I will tell anyone and everyone who asks about this kind of product to go Coby!1 out of 1 found this review helpful.

Good transmitter for the price5

This is my 3rd FM transmitter. The 1st two were the $60 Griffin ones that always had static and I was forever changing the stations to find one where I could actually hear the music. Plus, the cords were so long that they always got stuck between the seats (this is how one of mine broke.) I've been using the Coby for three weeks and I'm very happy with it. I chose one station and haven't had to move it. And when my iPod is not on, there's no static - it's clear. The coiled cord is very nice and convenient, so you don't have to deal with an obnoxiously long cord. I'm recommending it to my friends. The only downside is that it doesn't have a USB to charge an iPhone or iPod, but I can live without that.5 out of 5 found this review helpful.

I want to start out by saying that I did my research before picking up this product. There are way too many over priced FM transmitters out there. This one is cheap and works better than any of the other ones I have bought over the years. Extremely intuitive interface. I even think my mom could use it and that is saying something. I would recommend to anyone.5 out of 5 found this review helpful.

I have an iPod Nano and wanted to listen to it in the car. My car radio is factory-installed from 2004 and does not have a audio jack - I would have to install an updated radio. I found this and plugged it into the cigarette lighter, quickly found the radio station I needed and it works like a charm! I can also stream Pandora from my BlackBerry to it as well! Only problem I've had is when I accidentally bump the device and change the frequency setting. I use with my IPOD and I stream Pandora from my phone.4 out of 4 found this review helpful.

I was worried when I bought this transmitter. I thought it was going to be trash since it was only $20, but the only problem I have is needing a separate car charger. But being able to plug it directly into the transmitter makes up for it, since my old truck only has one outlet.
I gave this one to my friend and got a different transmitter with an iPhone dock connector. Big mistake. The new one cost much more and barely worked. The only thing it was good for was charging my phone.18 out of 18 found this review helpful.
