But what they don't tell you is you will have to wait 12 hours to make the first batch.
The canister has to be placed into the freezer for 12 hour before you can make ice-cream.
That being said, once you use it and are done, simply wash it and stick it back in the freezer for the next time.
I did also discover a trick to the recipes: Add one to two teaspoons of dry whipped cream mix into each batch. The mixture seems to thickin up a bit when I do this. I now make batches in about 7 to 9 minutes!
However it is pretty thick so you can't use the poor out spout.
I suppose you could stop the machine after 4 to 5 minutes and it would be thin enough to use the spout.
Overall, I love it!
