I've had this duet blender for a year, and love it. Blender works perfectly, even chops ice. Previously I had been using a 15 year old blender, and with the new one am amazed at the power. I didn't know what I was missing! Yes, a little noisy but that is the only possible negative. I'd never had a food processor before, and the attachment is very handy. It took a little time to get accustomed to using it, but now I use it all the time, especially to finely slice carrots and celery for soup, and chop onions and such. Just be careful when washing the blades, they are very sharp.1 out of 1 found this review helpful.

This blender blends ok. But it pours horrible. Have to use one of the corners to pour from. The base is made of plastic so it looks really cheaply made. Won't buy this ever again and don't recommend it.4 out of 4 found this review helpful.

Not usefuel to mix dough or solid aliments without good quantity of liquid (i.e. fruit, flour and eggs, etc.).

As a person who home makes and mixes everything from bread, sauces, soups, smoothies, nuts and wax for candles this is by far a great value. It convieniently comes with a 3 cup food processor which is what I use to grind my almonds and sometimes wax. Ive had this duet since '08 and its still running strong, I use it constantly its surprising how well it still runs through almonds to a very fine consistentsy. For those wanting a combo and not needing a grand food processor this is perfect.3 out of 3 found this review helpful.

I always bought the cheap under twenty dollars blenders, this time I decided to splurge since this model was on sale. Easy to clean and use; very to the point of what you need if for each time. However, this is my first time having a food processor. Too many parts to put it together which makes it easier to lose pieces.
