So far, so good. It works like a charm, and is super powerful. Only thing I'm a little concerned about is last week, the motor smelled like it was overheated on only the third use. Time will tell.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

Very disappointing. When our 40 year old Oster started smoking and stopped working we got what we thought was a very good brand to replace it. It just doesn’t live up to our expectations.2 out of 8 found this review helpful.

I don't know why people gave it such bad reviews. I love my blender. Maybe it's because the last blender I had was from circa 1993 and I'm grateful to have one that works really well. I would recommend this blender to anyone.3 out of 3 found this review helpful.

The part that mounts to the blade is made of a plastic and does stay attached for long, we had this blender for a few months and then it broke. I went online to see if I could find a replacement part and there were none for this piece that broke. So it's 80 bucks down the drain!
Who wants to mess with the warranty and mail this thing all over the place!5 out of 5 found this review helpful.

I decided to buy this blender since I have many cuisinart products. They all work really well so I expected just as much from this. Well, first time I used it. There was a smell like a burnt motor, but I got over it since it was new and needed breaking in. Second time I had my protein shake leaking out the bottom causing the blender to spin around on the base. This happened several times again. Even though I took all the pieces apart to clean it and made sure they were all tightened very well. Apparently, when blender is on high there is such a string impact that it twists and loosens the sealing on the bottom. Then the liquids seep out of the bottom and spew out. Needless to say, for the price I will be taking it back for a completely different model. I prefer not to try again and be disappointed. Also, this isn't stainless steel. It's just a grey plating that feels plastic, but is still fairly nice of a look.5 out of 5 found this review helpful.
