Poor Lasting for DTV Remote!2

DTV Remotes are expensive, especially when have to buy 2 or 3 remotes every year (for every TV set in the rooms); they have to be replaced yearly as it starts to stick!
I don't think either BestBuy or DirectTV should charge that much for a remote! Shame, shame.......

Useful only if DVR is in line of sight2

This remote is infra-red only, not radio frequency. So if your DVR is in a closed cabinet, this remote will not work. Get the RC65R on line for a lower price instead.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

Remote works great. The setup can be a little confussing but its hard to come up with instructions for every make and model of equipment that you may connect to your system but after a little bit of trial and error I finally got Everything working. This is my third remote of this type (because I am really hard on them) and it seems that each one is compatible with more and more models.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.
