Through narration, interviews with those involved with these missions and dramatic footage, the stories of the Airborne Pathfinders, the British Ninth Parachute Battalion, and the Navy Combat Demolition unit are explored. While the Navy Combat Demolition unit cleared the obstacles that could disturb the beach landings, Airborne Pathfinders were laying in radar beacons and lights for the massive drops of paratroopers that would coincide with the beach landings.
